Once again I find that I am enjoying one of your stories. I have been reading ff for years and have never seen a story line like this. Well done even after all the years you have been writing you still come up something new. thank you .

Wherever you got the idea/inspiration for these characters, they all show your unique stamp. This story is so much fun, in an off-the-wall manner. Albus has literally gone from his Ivory Tower to the least accessible area in Hogwarts and along the way learned he isn't always his own best council. You have the much maligned Gypsies providing the most insights and creative solutions, plus your Romilda is already wonderfully defined but continually surprising. Finally your deconstruction of the Daphne, Ice Princess persona, has been a revelation, with nothing as the first level, then a severely lacking in confidence young witch, and in the end of this chapter, a witch with some amazing talents and insights. It will be interesting to see what other talents she has.

All this makes me very happy we have seven more chapters to enjoy. Thanks, as always, for all your hard work and the amazing characters you create.

i love what you've written so far and as always i'm very excited to see where you take this next. that said, your use of the word "gypsy" and your take on romani culture as being about curses and so revenge oriented is pretty problematic. many romani people consider the term "gypsy" to be a slur and it has been used throughout history (and still today) to justify violence and oppression of the romani people. it is exceptionally unlikely that romilda would identify as a "gypsy" rather than as romani. frankly it is pretty unlikely that she would even tell someone she didn't know very well about her heritage given the usual reaction to that sort of thing. it might be a good idea for you to do a bit of googling about the use of the word and about romani culture in general.

About the time daphne had the drawing I started playing the skyrim ost while reading. This story is turning out really well as it's taking bits and pieces from some of your best works and merging them into one. Love it
