You have taken the lost and dying art of writing and made it beautiful once more. Where once, people believed that writing was so powerful that it could physically raise welts, we have forgotten that writing can evoke emotions we have long since left for dead. Your writing can make the tone deaf sing, make the coldest heart weep. I simply thank you. If you ever write again, I would love to read it, and even if you have long since left this site, I hope these words one day cross your eyes, so that you may know that you have made an impact.

God damn it man, you are at the level of writing I aspire to one day be. You can spin universes into motion with only with words. You make writing an art again, and I am so incredibly amazed that I get to see it... Well it gives me chills sometimes. Thank you. With all the gratitude within my heart, I thank you for giving us all your writing.

Still love this story and it's the third time I've read it. Great fun!

You got the Chippendale furniture prices off by quite a bit. Good Rococo style furniture made at the time of Chippendale but not by him goes for around pound 100,000. Some a little more and some little less. The few pieces that can be documented from Chippendale goes for 4 million. However most of Chippendales documented furniture is in a neoclasical style that came after what was in the Directory.

Would have been funny if Sophia had teased Viktor about rooting for Harry.

Yep, the Krums are officially my second favorite family in this story, and Boris is officially my second favorite OC behind Derek, and if I'm honest, they're my favorites behind Harry, Daphne, Romilda, Hermione, and Astoria.

Kinda surprised no one thought to bring Hermione's parents along.

Good on Daphne seizing the day like that.

Podska over Quidditch any day of the week. That one section of Podska was more entertaining than every reference of Quidditch I've read whether it be books or fanfiction.

Considering what some of these armors and weapons seem to be based on, I'm not surprised they pissed themselves seeing Harry do that, especially in an aproximation Daedric armor.

As much as I want to cry foul for the Pizza Hut joke, it was too well executed. It was such a wizard/Dumbledore thing to say. Based on what we know, I could see Lily punting the horcrux.

If Blue Steel had that kind of effect, I wonder how they would have handled Magnum.

Wait, are you telling me that Harry made some kind of knock off Daedric armor? You know, I get the feeling that you took a scene right out of a dragon fight in Skyrim for Harry's battle with the Horntail. I don't know why I didn't catch it before. Daph and Tori's dad is Derek Zoolander. That's funny.

I'm wondering if the potions and smithing in this fic is influenced by the Skyrim. While that Fortify Smithing potion only really uses any combo of three of those ingredients, I can see why you went with all four, as that would be more in line with how potions are made in Harry Potter.

There was enough Holy Crap and resulting fallout stuff in what I just read for this to warrant it being an epic oneshot. The fact that it was just the first chapter, and that there are still eight more......I'm a very happy fanfiction reader right now.

I just finished rereading this story. I probably have read it 3 or 4 times since you first published it. I loved it. What I liked about it was it was so different. Harry's apiration is to become a blacksmith/enchanter? Not to many stories out there depicting that. Head Auror, Minister of Magic, Chief Warlock, Master of Death stories, you'll find by the score. But instead of it being an aspiration that's beneath his potential/abilities, it was one which brought out his strengths and talents in a big way. It was a great job, and I definitely enjoyed reading this one. Maybe the people who told you they didn't like it sidn't like it being so different. Anyway, thanks for sharing your writing with us!

Third time if reading and I still love this story. Something of the Engineer in me kinda found the the idea of hitting gits like death eaters with a sword or a warhammer far more realistic than a Harry becoming a ninja-wizard overnight. Brilliant story!

Seriously, one of my top ten all-time favorite fanfics. I love and have family history of blacksmithing, and my teen son is taking classes to continue the tradition. Reading this was pure enjoyment. Thank you.

I've really been enjoying your writing style. I'm ashamed to say this my first review. I like the way you took three minimal information about Romilda and the Green grass sisters and brought their characters to life. Your OC is a delight. I was just so awed to find that you're an Elder Scrolls fan. The blacksmithing and potion recipes were such wonderful gems.

I reread this story today, and enjoyed just as much as the first time. Thank you for sharing it with all of us.
