This is a brilliant story and I'm looking forward to the next update. Please update soon. I only recently found this site and I have to say that I'm impressed with all the authors on here, your writing is brilliant, you make the stories believable, funny, full of angst or anything else you want really well. I have yet to read a story on here that I have not enjoyed. Thank you very much and keep up the good work.

Re-reading this, I once again discover another idea or concept I unwittingly 'borrowed' from you without permission. This time it was the visual of a Harry versus Viktor Quidditch match, where Harry grabs the snitch leaves his broom and thrusts his arm up after falling (I think my scene is different enough you won't care, but if you're wondering and want me to change it, it's at the end of this chapter).

Not too long ago, I re-read This Means War and realized that in old fics I'd appropriated bits about humping McGonagall's leg and getting a unicorn to test Ginny's chastity. Probably a bunch of other scenes, gags, or one-liners were also impinging on unintentional homage territory.

Pretty soon I may just have to re-read all your fics before I start writing or those 'ideas' I may come up with could be frighteningly similar to fics I've not read in years.

Then again, thinking about the number of supposed turf wars between Mermen and Veela in fanfics, I'd imagine you're somewhat accustomed to this.

Still a good fic here. My reservations about the unavoidable 'forced' love remain, but you get us readers to ignore the circumstances and enjoy this fic.

My girlfriend and I love this story. It's nice to read a non Harry/Ginny story with solid characters and an excellent plot.

Well, I'm not sure if I've already reviewed to this chapter but damn this is good. Actually I came to this site via TMW but although TMW is very good, nothing is as genious as Hope. I like all your stories Jeaconais but for me Hope is truly your masterpiece. I'm bowing to your abilities as author! And I know how much work it is to write a good fanfic myself.

I can't wait what it is that causes DD to act so stupidly. I want to know if Harry & Co are really building their own quittitch team and I want to see how Trewlawney gets busted! Yeah!

They way you let Harry act about the mating is very detailed and imaginable. He is honorable to the boot but still you manage the relationship between Gabby and Harry evolve in a slow but very believable way. I don't think any other author could pull that off in such a way like you did. Again... I really like this story and please continue it to the end!

This is such a wonderful story...I do hope you will begin updating it again soon as I see it has been almost a year. The only bad thing I can see is now I am going to have to try to find some more Harry/Gabby fics to read =)

i am egerly waiting for your next chapter of this storie. I will not go cliche and say i love your work (even though i do) But i would like to let you know it is very much apreceated after a long day at work, to come home turn on the 'puter and read a funny, smart story that gets you smiling despite your day. I've read this a dozen times and its still getts better with each reading.

I got this story from The Goblets nominations, as you probably know you were nominated for "Best Creature Feature Fiction".

I wanted to tell you that this is one of the best stories I've ever read. It's very well put together and people can tell you (and your betas) put a LOT of work into it, and it shows. It's nice to read a story that is smut, even if it is romance. You story has undertones of lust but its not consumed by it like some many stories out there get.

I like how you've kinda made it into a fairy-tale type story and Harry as super-powerful without making it completely unbelievable. It’s a very good read and I can wait to see what you do to Malfoy, Snape, and the two frauds or what you’ve had Snape do to Dumbledore. I knew there wasn’t something quite right about it all. I mean, back when Snape was trying to get Gabby arrested. He shot Dumbledore a look and I knew that he was doing something to Dumbledore (well I knew it before that but that’s when I had evidence). I wonder how much exactly those pictures are going to hurt Harry or if he’ll just brush it off as an 'You only find out we’re together NOW? Where have you been? That’s old news.’ That would be hilarious. And sense Krum, Harry’s new Teammates, Gabby’s family, the Weasleys-well pretty much everyone around them knows about the relationship that could happen.

On closing I’d just like to say that I can completely see how you were nominated, I wish you all the luck in the contest, and I can’t wait for the next update.

Wow! I think this is the most original HP story I've ever come across! You've taken so many 'common' fanfic elements & put a unique twist on them and suddenly it's all shiny and new. I love that Veela Mate doesn't equal Draco, that Harry teaching doesn't happen at Hogwarts & that Ollie Wood is a slutish pig. *grins*

Of course, I dying to figure out why Albus D is acting the way he is and is defering to Snape so much. I'm guessing he's under Imperius. Am I right?
