This is a marvelous, wonderful chapter. I was surprised by some parts and touched by many.

Lunch with Aimée was a very nice scene. She's a great character and by all appearances will be a great friend to Harry from now on.

The Bond blocking spell was honestly something that I thought would end up being forgotten. I took more as an explicit expression of Hermione's having learnt her lession. But instead, it actually did help them confirm their feelings.

The scene with Trelawney & Skeeter was the biggest surprise. I had started to wonder if there actually was some cabal of piss poor prognosticator behind the scenes. Instead, behold the power of enlightened self interest! :-)

Their evening together reminded me somewhat of WKGQ, but it also emphasized how much more adult this Harry is.

The final consummation was very sweet and tasteful.

Many thanks for sharing this with us.

Whoa, you don't do things by half, do you?

This was a very well done chapter, with a great deal of emotion involved. More importantly, it had the last bit of emotional growth that Harry and Gabrielle needed to cement their relationship.

Having read the previous chapters several times, I noticed the varied nuances you added to their relationship. It started with Gabrielle trying to subtly win Harry over, and them both having to start back at step one when he found out he was being manipulated.

Once he knew why, and thought about it, he decided to give it a chance. The fact that you factored in the doubts that are a part of the formation of a lasting relationship, gives it a life that many romantic fics lack.

I can imagine that you have found this story, and are still finding it, to be a rewarding challenge.

I look forward to the remaining two chapters.

Excellent work as usual, and well worth the wait. I really enjoy reading your work, even if I do have to wait a while for it. Thank you for a great chapter and keep up the good work.

A great read like always. Only criticism i would have is that it focuses a little too much on what happened the last chapter. While completely understandable considering what happened last chapter and the length of time between updates; Just seemed like more was detailed to what happened then what is happening or what will.

Hi! I just wanted to say that I completely loved the chapter (I didn't even mind the wait too much, seeing how it was well worth it), but there's something I noticed in this chapter. Look, I'm from Belgium, and Antwerp is one of the major cities there, so Antwerp is a Belgian city, therefor Aimée and Harry would have eaten a Dutch meal and not a German. I don't think a lot of people know this (I mean, Belgium is a tiny country of not too much importance :)), but everything else in your story is so well-documented that I thought you'd appreciate the extra information. Now, I'd just like to thank you again for the wonderful stories you create for us. So: thank you!

Jeconais replied:

*laughs*

Just wait until you read the next chapter. I'm very aware of where Belgium is - I chose it deliberately :) The food choice was deliberate. All will be explained.

*chuckle* Well, at least Rita's matured, even if the rest of the Prophet hasn't. This installment was well worth the wait and I love his future plans.

The ending was a delightful surprise, sealing their committment and bond to each other for the rest of their lifes.

Bravo! Well worth the wait.

John the head boy... Hmm, A bit of subtle, maybe even subconscious, jabbing at Kokopelli, who is such a demanding beta?

I must say, I was completely surprised by Rita's handling of Sybill. I bet you had a lot of us fooled, Tim. We were all accepting that in this A/U Sybill was a sneaky credible minor threat to Harry, and it turns out she really was nothing but a fraud.

We seem to be revolving back to Snape as the Prime suspect here, though pensieve-abuse (by Albus) is still a factor, I think.

thanks again,
...art

I love this chapter, the flow and emotion in it are wonderful.

With each chapter I think that you can't continue to get any better and each time I'm proved wrong. What else can I say but "Thank You" and that I'll be waiting with baited breath for the rest of this story.

Awesome, can't wait for the next two chapters. Then you have a bunch more stories for us, including Happily Ever After. Jeconais you are my favorite fan fiction author, I like how you write Harry as a mature observant person.
