I liked the Weasley bashing. It was real, because it was from family - the people who know them best and would love them.
Wine and restaurants are awesome. And love is amazing.
Harry's thoughts on magic are intriguing. I am reminded of the fact that power corrupts. But what is power if not knowledge? And did not the Wisest of all Men tell us that the greatest knowledge is to be content and happy in one's life? I hope that is where Harry aims.
Lastly, what is the deal with Fleur? The Twins seem to have given up on that idea, but it's not like they were managing it very well. Is Harry supposed to end up with her or what? I mean, I currently don't see any other candidates, but as I see it, it will mean there's yet a long way t go if it will happen

Nice chapter, nice rant at the beginning and end. waiting to see how you have Harry deal with the female population at Hogwarts and Slytherin in particular. Thanks for the update. Awaiting more.

Wow, in this chapter I could actually picture Harry as a powerful but lazy scholar slouching slightly in his chair as he described the three tenants of magic with a half full wine glass in one hand.

I love this series and its sometimes zany tangents. First impression of this chapter, it's great, the story is progressing, and the tricks you pull out of the hat are fitting and I love them. The twins are a riot, and I am loving to hate those who are 'hating' on Harry. Can't wait to see how the next family reunion goes at the Burrow!
One small thing that was very noticeable to me, was when the maitre'd (Jonathon) was speaking to Gabrielle, he referred to her as 'madame', which seems a somewhat jarring inconsistency in usage. Shouldn't she be referred to as 'mademoiselle'? I'm pretty sure that a young female child, no matter what species, isn't going to be mistaken for an older woman. Wouldn't the maitre'd refer to her as a 'young lady' to be polite and pleasant, rather than 'elder lady' which you seem to be saying here?
While a young girl will probably be pleased to be treated as a mature young lady, I don't think being called 'old' would be similarly so.

I. Love. This. Story. Every time a new chapter comes out, I re-read the whole thing and never get bored of it. The first part has humor out the wazoo, the second part shows a wonderfully gradual transition towards the seriousness; combined with Harry's transition toward adulthood.

Harry sure gets up on a soap box doesn't he! This was a great update. Harry is becoming a force to be reckoned with at all levels, though he should tone down the flirting a little before it attracts the wrong kind of attention. Will Harry and Fleur ever move past animosity? You have stated that Harry will not get into any permanent relationship, will that stay true or will it change as time trudges along? Right now Gabby is alittle sister he never had, but what of the years ahead when she grows into her form?

A fun chapter with that hilarious Weasley Twins meeting to start with and then a serious sequence that segues into a humorous/serious one in France. It should be rather interesting to see where this vineyard venture leads.

This is the type of chapter that you just want to go on and on and not stop until we see how Harry reacts when he discovers they've used Gabrielle as 'bait' in the second task.
I think he'll have a hard time waiting like he told the other champions he would.
Another excellent chapter. We, the readers, are humbled by your presence.
I look forward to your next chapter,

I really like this story - if only because it's very, very different than anything else currently being written. You've created an entirely new conceptualization of the HP world and in so doing, allowed us to see a very different HP. I like what you've done with the Delacours and I also like the way you've made Crabbe & Goyle a 'protection' unit for Harry. That totally suborns Draco & his 'authority' (if the ferret ever actually had any). I also like the Weasley twins (though I think you don't quite have their call-and-response pattern of speaking down the way some other writers have done it.
I would love to see this story head in the direction of Harry/Hermione/Gabrielle (when she's mature enough to handle that). I'm not sure right now what pairings you have in mind, but HHr has the most special place in my heart.
I'm definitely looking forward to more of this and hope you can post again soon.

I love the way your story line is going. It is reading like a romance novel I didn't want to read but did a any way. It a smooth flow. the characters just fit, no other way to say it.

Good chapter. A nice length and a lot accomplished. While harry was preachy it was the good kind of preachy. Inspirational and not too judgemental
