This is really, really amusing, and I think you should stop being so self-deprecating. Is it the best fic around? No. But it's hilarious and good enough. Chillax.

This was well done. I must say that I greatly enjoy this version of Harry and his interaction with those around him...though half seem to be on his payroll.

> The two grinned and dashed down to the corridor outside Kate’s room.
> ...
> ... Harry asked, doing his robes up.
'doing his robes up' -- oh DEAR!!! :-) :-(
I was getting a bit miffed that Hermione seemed to have been sidelined when you put in that scene at the end:
> "Harry," Hermione said softly. "I think you have some real friends over here."
>
> "I have the best one in front of me."
Awww. But good on you. Yeah, I can see how you want to explore fresh friends and relationships, but I'm glad you're still keeping Harry loyal to the best friend who was always so loyal to him; and most particularly that loyalty was evident right at the point that your story started, after the Goblet's selection of Harry as a champion.
> "Dobby," Harry called. "One hangover cure please."
HA HA HA!! repeating the joke that got me to laugh-out-loud in the first chapter. Hee. :-)
You have a thing for Gabrielle, I think. :-) At least in this one she's way too young for Harry. As is Harry, really.
> The dragon looked faintly betrayed ...
Heh. :-)
Okay, I have a perfect way for you to introduce Hermione as Harry's girlfriend and soulmate. What you do is have Hermione and Viktor kissing in a Hogwarts corridor, then have Harry come across them ... at which point a sudden chest monster will manifest and consume him with rage and jealousy. The chest monster will then take a life of its own and have Harry continually lust after Hermione, even though he doesn't know why and we are never told or shown why he - or the monster - is attracted to Hermione so strongly.
What do you reckon? What? Hackneyed, trite, simplistic, and it didn't work in HP book 6 and won't in this story? Shucks.
Re the 'back stabbing' Weasleys and other Gryffindors - strong emotions and words there, but given as how this story jumped off right after the Goblet made its choices, it makes perfect sense. And the more distance Harry puts between him and the 'traitors', the more remote the chances of any reconciliation. Particularly since Hermione isn't an intermediary trying to get Harry and Ron back together.
A fun chapter to a fun story, thank you!

This has been one of the most enjoyable new fics I have read in a while. Good work as always.

You are an absolute genius when it comes to writing fanfic. I bow down to your greatness. Love this story like all your others. You have a great ability to make any story interesting. Weither its way out there, or as cannon as you can get with out being the creator. Your a true story teller, and i hope you never get tried of writing your stories. Keep up the good work, and hope to see more of your work soon.

I have to say this one is surprisingly amusing.
Harry with a good support staff is nice.
since I like Dahpne and Tracey can you fit them in somehow?
Then if we go with the fandom that most asians know one martial art or another there is Su Li.
cheers

Oh, but Gabrielle is so adorable here~!
This is so much fun to read. A light-hearted bit of messing with the HP world, ne? And I appreciate the translations. I wish I knew French, but I am currently unable to take any sort of course or find a tutor for it, and find that I learn much better and faster with an actual instructor than muddling about on my own. :P

Wooooooooooo! over-the-top Triwizard Tournament just got higher! I really love this, especially the Weasley twins' dialogue (please give them some more airtime) and Gabrielle.

I'm enjoying this story quite a bit. It's fun to find myself smiling in the middle of a sentance. It reminds me that life isn't all angst or adventure.

This fic is hysterical and quirky and soooo over the top in places. :D I love it! Please don't let it get lost in the shuffle of your other fics. That being said... can't wait for the next chapter.

Oh, I just love this. Gabrielle is adorable, and strongly reminds me of my youngest when she was a little younger. ;-)
I also love what you're doing with Hermione.
Thanks, Tim!

Another great chapter imo, and really enjoyed Harry the showman, as well as his letting Albus know that there's a relatively new sheriff in town now, and will look forward to what happens at the Yule Ball this time out, especially with all the confidence Harry continues to project.
