A truly excellent next chapter to a highly enjoyable story, if I wore a hat I'd be taking it off to you right now.

Your Harry is the Harry I've always wanted him to be, mature and adult (I'm certain after reading this chapter you can understand the difference) without being over the top. The ball scene was perfectly done, with exactly the right balance between drama and humour, and I found myself reading with a smile on my face - even with the kiss, since you were careful to explain the significance immediately leaving nothing to be misunderstood. And while the chapter did feel different to the rest, it was a good difference.

Yet again I will say how happy I am that you chose to write and post this story, and how much I'm looking forward to the next chapter despite the fact that you've only just posted this one ;)

Very, *very* good job, and keep up the fantastic work :)

Review of: Hogwarts' Dawn, (Chapter 4) by Jeconais
----
> Dumbledore nodded. "One more question. How did you not go insane?"

Harry smiled. "Who said I didn’t?"
----
I freely admit that this one line caused me to do a classic spit take all over my laptop. I swear I need a plastic cover whenever I read your stories.

I'm quite curious who Harry's dream girl is. Please tell me she isn't just a fantasy, and he actually has someone in mind [who we get to meet].

Regardless, another chapter very much in keeping with the rather unique style of the story: Utterly bonkers, and yet remarkably deep.

BTW: I don't suppose we could have a picture of Kate?

Thanks,

Tzu Con

I loved the ligh heartedness of the beginning, seeing Harry really get to celebrate Christmas was well worth the wait for this chapter. What made the wait even more bearable was the ending. I didn't read more then a line or two of Harry's words to Dumbledore and I teared up instantly. I felt my heart breaking for everything Harry doesn't have. To know how he felt. I like how rational he was. He said it simplistically, it was what it was and while it hurt he knew he couldn't change it. I'm so in love with this story! Thank you for sharing

' "We is only knowing English food and some Italian, because Mario," she pointed at a small elf in red overalls with a large moustache...'

FOR SHAME, SIR! ::Snicker:: Funny, tho'. As for everything else, I like it! Over the top in some places, but that's half of why I come back to your stories. I like a little over-seasoning on my fanfiction.

And, I think the slight shaming of Dumbledore was probably the kindest way I've ever seen a fanfic author have Harry alert Albus to his own failings. Fun!

Awesome chapter. I haven't been to this site in a while and really missed your works. I would often find myself almost completely immersed in them. Hope things are going well for you.

Gods above, I absolutely loved that last scene with Dumbledore. Actually, the entire scene, from Dumbledore asking him what James and Lily would think til the end was powerfully emotional and as close to perfect as I've even seen. Bravo and very well done.

As for the rest of the chapter, it was great. I really like this Harry and his various relationships are wonderfully written. I eagerly await the next chapter.

This is one of the best Harry's ever. His talk with Dumbledore is simply one of the most effective I have read. No sarcasm, childish tantrums, or blustering guilt trips. Simply making DD realize Harry is more than he has given him credit for. My only concern was the scene dancing with Gabrielle. It seemed too mature for the two younghearts. Part of me expected it to be Fleur and Harry dancing. The dancing was fine, just the initial conversation. Glad to see Harry maturing and working things out. Part of me wonders when the rug will get pulled out from him though. Keep up the great storytelling. :)

Great! This was like always a lot of fun to read. I took no issues with the kiss mentioned in the disclaimer - while I'm normally rather uninterested in reading anything with slash, that has less do do with the homosexuality itself and more do do with the rampant OOCness. The kiss was very much in character for the Harry that has developed in this story. And even still it's just a kiss.

Thank you for writing, and thank you for sharing your writing with us.

Needs a serious proof reading. Also, crazy amount of fluff + angst and no real plot feels meh.

This:

"We is only knowing English food and some Italian, because Mario," she pointed at a small elf in red overalls with a large moustache, "is being with an Italian family for years."

was the best freaking line in any HP fanfic ever!!! Damn near fell out of my chair laughing.

As always such an excellent job. Happy, frivolous....serious....thought-provoking. Just ... wow. Thanks for your most excellent efforts on this story. I would certainly ask for more of this piece per your twitter comments of earlier today.
Wishing you the best.

Tim, I come to this site nearly every day looking for updates from a few authors, and you to this day are still the first I look for. I love the way you write. When you need to make a point it kicks you in the ass just as effectively as the poigniant scenes in any of the Tyler Perry/Madea films...when it hits you it makes you sit back and and generally the first word that comes into my head when I see those scenes is "FUCK"...I have been reading your works since you first started on ff.net, and I am so glad that, while you dont post as often as you used to, your work is never disappointing...hoping to see more of the addams family cross, but I will enjoy whatever you have new to offer. Peace and long life to a man I have never met, but I still will call you a friend.
