I think like is too weak of a word. Love might be better....
Either way it was a great read and I eagerly await (patiently and not so patiently) for the next breadcrumb from a master storyteller.

I'd just might snitched that word sometime. Just love the way Fudge was cut down. Isn't everyone a bit bias in that society? I do think that Minister Fudge won't be a minister much longer.

*bg* Oh wow, this was great! Honestly, Fudge just seems determined to dig his own grave, doesn't he? Pretty soon it'll be deep enough for him to throw himself, Umbridge, and half of the Ministry in it.
Heh, love that much of Wizarding Britain is practically in open rebellion over what's going on with Harry. *smirks* Welcome to the Revolution, everyone! :D
Great update! Am now going back to read it again! :)

Glad to see this chapter again. I was one of the multitudes who read both this and Year Four of Perfect Slytherins when they were up originally, and I'm looking forward to being able to re-read that as well.
I'm still loving the way that Harry and the others are pulling Fudge's trousers down and giving him an incredibly public spanking! The buffoon certainly deserves it.
Also, thank you for the new login procedure, it's a whole lot easier using my Google ID instead of trying to remember my user name and password for the site.

That is the most awsome second task i've ever seen, and that is saying something. Very well done!

Always a pleasure to receive an update notification for this story with its well written sense of drama whilst maintaining a sense of humour. Thank you.

Good chapter, and considering its length I can understand why you cut it off when you did. Glad to see this updated, and nice to see Harry dealing with Macnair & sidekick, not to mention Umbridge. I lookforward to the next

Great chapter as always... hope to read Chapter 7 soon. ;)
I also have one question: IN Chapter 6 you stated, that there are 8 years in the hogwarts education while in Canon Hogwarts lasts for 7 years. Is this a spelling mistake or is your hogwarts education longer than in Canon?

Wow. I never expected this story to be updated ever again. There are a few spelling mistakes though. You forgot to write Harry's name completely and only wrote 'H' the other mistake was somewhere in the beginning.
I enjoyed reading the new chapter, well done!
Kingdark.

Good point about Amelia, one not used very often when she's on a case and knows Harry before, but agree about the idiocy of the justice system in British wizarding world, else I couldn't see Lucius and so many former DE's getting to walk away with no more than a fine, and what always seemed to be not even a slap on the wrist. Fudge was at the absolute edge of smarminess, a typical politician in book three, but book five really used it to the edge of idiocy in his actions, one that made you roll his eyes at how he and Umbridge acted, and made you wish that they'd get a lot worse than they apparently did. Impressive with the Lake, and will be curious as to what might happen to Snape, and if the greasy haired one will finally get all he is deserving, but didn't get in canon due to JKR apparently making wish really hard, and deciding that Snape was so awesome that the series should have been named Severus Snape, the most awesome guy alive. Maybe he could have sparkled in the sun? LOL.

I feel a bit sad for the Weasleys, especially Arthur, because, if they really are like that in this story, he's tied up with his family, while Gred and Forge can get away. The name thing, though, now that was sad. I wonder if they're going to bring it up at some point - possibly while sitting down and speaking with the family, before all the Weasley decide to grow up. I liked the idea of Harry noting he needed to get an actual vineyard to do something with, once he began spinning tales about it. And, of course, who better than Christophe to help with that? I laughed at the "it’s the sort of thing that only an Englishman emigrating to France would buy" part, since he seems to have forgotten that it's exactly what Harry is. I rather liked his way to make a buying decision, too. And Renée seems like a nice woman (even if you misspelled her name three times out of four ;-) ). Was Harry making his speech about magic along as he was speaking, or did he think about it before? Or possibly had it already with Sidney?

Rules definitely aren't for Harry, are they? I know that's the way the story is supposed to be, but part of me just cringes at seeing him do whatever he wants and takes charge without any consequences or anyone calling him on it - no, people are pleased by his initiatives. You don't give points when a student brings in a giant tree and starts giving out treats to the house elves as if the school belongs to him, Flitwick, you ask him what he thinks he's doing! (Sorry, just had to get that off my chest. Of course, the other, bigger part of me is just sitting there, enjoying the light reading.) Nice cameo, Mario. The Ball was very fun, especially the part with Michael. Sinistra was nice as well. The exit, and Dumbledore? Well, it was a good try, and may have worked if a certain student wasn't out of control, but as it is, it totally blew in his face. Not a bad thing, by the way, since he seems to have come to a few realizations that way. I'm glad Harry and Kate will be keeping in touch, too.

Ha ha! Sidney was great! Little Christophers a bit creepy, though. And the training is crazy and dangerous (but it's got Hogwarts stamp of approval, and that's enough for the story). Nice business date for the Yule Ball. And I quite like Kate - and her "I guess it doesn’t matter, as long as it works" philosophy. The whole meeting with the Delacours was hilarious. Gabrielle's announce that he smelled of girl the next morning as well. And the reprimand for the lack of intel that just happen to lead to the possible need of a spell to find him at some point? Yeah, good idea. Poor Fleur. Her upbringing isn't exactly her fault, even if she could make an effort.

No political power from the Lord Potter thing - a welcome change. His taking charge without really realizing what he's doing - fun also. Bagman repeating himself redundantly! To be precise, he's even saying the same thing twice! ;-) Great job with the First Task! For once, he manages to do something that's both safe and completely over the top. Poor Dumbledore... sometimes, seeing through it all isn't good for you. (And he's probably right about not mixing alcohol and children, too!) Hermione's great and fun. I feel a bit bad about Ron, but... yeah, I can see him do something like that. Oh, and I think I love Gabrielle. Fleur as a spoilt brat is rather fun, though. On a completely unrelated note, would you like some help with the French? (Just asking because of Fleur saying "Un petite" instead of "Un petit peu", and French is my first language.)

I think the best way to summarize my thoughts after reading that would be to use your words.
"This has been strange. Let’s get drunk."
