Another brilliant chapter. Impressed how you handled all Harry's intimate moments, very sensitivitely done. The explanation of Fleur's behaviour solved some questions I had. Appreciated the time condensing. Adored Sidney, Janice & little Christopher. Those little details make the story for me.

Brilliant chapter. Loved it all; dragon slayer etc. The descriptions were exemplary of the first task. The party afterwards was marvellous to read. Introducing Gabrielle so early in the story was smart, it makes thing much more interesting with Fleur. I was nicely surprised to read that Harry planned to do his schooling elsewhere next year (that means a sequel! Yes!). All in all a fun time was had by me reading the chapter.

While the focus has changed, the combination of humor, friendship, shewering the easily mocked wizarding government and culture, amazing magic, and heroes continued in this chapter. Even with a huge cast of very interesting characters, you managed to get everyone their time on stage, while moving the story forward with the various events you conjured.

A special note has to be made about how you've depicted Gabrielle. She's utterly brilliant! Your enviable ability to create memorable characters is at its best with this iteration of the adorable French child, which is certainly equal to your iconic Gabrielle from Hope.

The next chapter can't come quickly enough.

In a world as small as the wizarding world, I'm curious as to whether there is such thing as an unbiased judge. Seems to me that would be awfully difficult when there can't be too many more than a couple thousand individuals in the country (as far as canon suggests).

Anyway, great chapter. I didn't really understand the actions behind the tournament too well. Why attempt to take a handful of girls by force? If they decline to participate, it seems a little ill conceived to just attack them, no matter how much power your government has. I guess it could be chalked up to them underestimating Harry, but even then... Meh, makes for a story I suppose...

I have to reiterate how adorable Gabrielle is. As much as I love Hope, this Gabrielle might be my favorite overall. She's just so bloody cute.

Oh, you can't stop there! We need to see how Fudge trys to pin this on Harry. Will he be proud of the fact that 30 of his 'best' Aurors couldn't handle 9 students without the help of Dumbledore's resident death eater??

Where is Snape anyway? I don't think they've dug a hole big enough for him to hide in from Harry. I really don't think Dumbledore will be able to protect him in this case - I just can't wait!

I hope since there were 'bugs' to get worked out that the next installment will be coming soon.

Had to read this from the start to get to the feel, and to remember. I didn't mind a bit. It's still brill.

only thing i noticed and bothered me a bit was how fast the original concept of the twins was dropped. Of course harry has to outgrow them and already the tables have turned, it's now about what harry can offer to them. I just miss the twins. Harry's so serious nowdays. He should've had some fun first.
