As many of us have come to expect. Brilliant!

This, along with the other Neville Vignette, are probably my second favorite of the whole lot. What absolutely makes it, for me, is the quote at the end. Without the quote it's still good, but the quote really drives home the "evolution" of Neville. I just love it!
Thanks,
Meg

Of all of the Vignettes, this is by far the funniest! You totally captured the essence of Fred and George - both the fact that they *really* want to do something nice for Harry AND that it's like one, huge prank.
Thanks Tim, and beta crew, for getting these polished up and posted. I'd been missing them!

I really enjoyed reading the finished versions of these stories. I also wanted to point out the beginning portion where Dumbledore is talking to a Gryffindor student. The story alternates between calling him Seamus and Neville.

it was good to see this again; and I really hope I wasn't imagining things when I thought you mentioned there was another part that would wrap everything up.
Also, going back to Albus; are we ever going to find out what changed, i.e. the line was "and something changed."

I will admit that I would love to see them contact her about this at some point. I think that Daphne would see the deep sorrow in her, and realise that she can't twist the knife any more than Hermione already has.
Possibly, they might even begin a new friendship.
That may simply be my liking for the character speaking, though.

YES, The Vignettes have landed. I look forward to read these, Tim.
I hope that you sometime in the future will be tempted to write a story in the same way, as I enjoyed reading these on your yahoo-group.
On to read them, one chapter a day.
Regards Ichtys.
