"But tonight -- tonight, Harry offered me redemption. He offered a vision so wide and so pure that it left me breathless"

And that's what I like about the best HP fan-fiction. It offers redemption, if not usually as broadly as this story.

Thanks for a fun story. I've really enjoyed it.

This is one of the first pieces of fanfiction I started to read years ago. My fondest wish would be a epilogue, saying what happened to the TMW universe characters.

Now I am very much looking forward to Hope.

Thanks Tim,

Sam

Well, that was a pretty good ending to a pretty good story. I agree with your note that the dragon flight didn't fit as well as it could have. In fact, the entire dragon sub-arc didn't fit all that well with the story. It feels like it should be another story, somewhere, rather than a part of this one.

That said, it didn't really detract from the story, and on the whole, the tale was excellent. I remember this as being one of the first works of HP fiction I ever read, and I'm quite pleased to see it get completed. I know my investiment in the story can't be even a single percent of what you must feel for it, but I do feel like it was important to me to see this work done.

So, from a longtime reader who hasn't given you nearly enough reviews along the way, I just want to say thank you for the countless hours I'm sure you put into it. I'm sure you've brought a lot of smiles with your words and even a few tears.

Now, get back to work on Hope so I can pilfer... borrow... err.. be inspired by it for my Harry/Fleur story. Yeah, inspired. That's the ticket. ;)

Sevvie hurrying off to bed so telling the others to hurry up was great. "I valked inter dat" was hilarious. So was Susan's abrupt change of tone. The dog biscuits were a wonderful touch. The Scooby snacks / pesky kids courtroom scene was ridiculously funny. Loved the way you made Percy Minister. Ron's reason for not using other swearwords was also great. Loved the poke at the Slash of DH (which makes me shudder too).

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, nothing beats Monty Python. Once it has been quoted by your enemy, you might as well go away and find yourself a nice cell in Azkaban because you will not win.

Laughed my head off at Harry being a god.

Wonderful story. Thanks for finishing it at last. It's been a terrific ride. Can't wait for new stories!

I must say that the whole story is absolutely wonderful and amazing.
People look at me strangely at work while laughing about dog biscuits for Sirius!
Thanks for your work, your imagination and making us dreaming and laughing

One quote in french from a lyrics and a movie called "Le Père Noel est une ordure" something like Father Christmas is a f.. ass...

count me among those who like it. I waited for you to finish before reading any of it, and though the writing did mature as it progressed, it's not as confused a story as you make it out to be.

Your opinions non-withstanding, I think this was an excellent story. It need not be carried out any further except in the imaginations of your readers. Yes, your writing has changed from first to last, but you have as well. You have grown and matured as a writer and it reflects in your stories. How can it not? I have watched your growth since the early days of BtVS fanfiction and through HP fanfiction. I complement you on your growth. Do not denigrate your earlier efforts, for they too were great reading. I look forward to your next effort and your continued growth. Keep up the great work. You are a great storyteller and entrance us, your readers, with your words.

Absolutely FABULOUS! This story was one of the firsts that I ever read when I started reading HP fanfic (it was on some other site) and I just fell in love with fanfic and and kept reading it.

I just have to say that this story was great even up to Chapter 9 which I for long thought to be last one since there was so long break. So you can understand my wonder when I got email notice about chapter 10. It continued story in same great way and now just finishing the last chapter of story...
GREAT WORK! This is certainly one of my favorite HP stories. Keep up the good work in other stories you might write in future also :)

Excellent. Just excellent. I read the comment on your Yahoo group about 'feeling a bit empty' before I read the story and I can relate. I was almost reluctant to read the story - it was definately the end of something fantastic and I was bittersweet about seeing it end. I appreciate the way that you ended this - I like the opportunity to have my imagination fill in the blanks (I know you said no sequals, but TMW Harry at Beauxbatons for a term seems to be begging to be written) and I appreciate how you left the story so that everyone can get their 'happily ever after'. The Scooby-Doo references were classic (Pesky Kids!), you set everyone up for a successful future and Ginny FINALLY got her time. Great job. Love the story, Love the ideas and appreciate your talent. Thank you for sharing your vision with the rest of the 'unwashed'.

A very nice ending to the story. It's been a hell of a ride. Though I have to ask, what do you mean that all battles don't start with a cow being hurled? I think Harry will find normality eludes him, but I think he'll come to not mind.

Sohail posted a comment on Wednesday 28th February 2007 8:04am

Congrats on a well done story. It is by far the one of my favorite storys.

jgkitarel posted a comment on Wednesday 28th February 2007 8:01am

Well, it has been a story that oyu've has on the back burner for a while.

Anyway, a good piece. Besides, the outlandish thingsa you put in added some things to it, like giving Harry a few things to put into perspective for what he'd do after Voldemonkey was killed.

Frankly, he now has a chance to be a teenager.

It was a fun ride while it lasted.

NOO ITS OVER! Such a cool chapter though...&& I loved the letter :] but Harry is still going to run the world I'm sure! Hmm no sequel? Fine with me! I liked this ending! But if you ever felt like writing a one-shot in the TMW world then by all means do it...haha
