I was surprised to find TMW after all this time. I read it about a year and a half ago, ending up with 'Harry's day off', and have ben checking on and off for more. This has been one of my favorite satire/humor stories, ranking right up there with 'Naked Quiddich Match' and 'Make a Wish'. While this story is over, it has been a wonderful ride. The quiddich match was well written, if a bit short, and though the battle that ended it all was furious, as you said in your notes, it did seem a bit anticlamactic. I liked the scene in the headmaster's office where you included those thrice bedamned horcrux plot devices.
Silencing charms! I wonder if Hagrid can hear her. A funny, vibrant and completely memorable story. I even read it to my sister, who really doesn't care for HP. She fell off the chair laughing. I await your next effort. Alorkin

Excellent conclusion to an excellent story! As you said the end was a while in coming, but it was definatly worth the wait! The M-Mail Idea was rather Ingenious as well BTW, I've only ever seen one story that managed to us it successfully (And only two or three that were dumb enough to leave it in when they crashed and burned)
Yes the whole 'Dark Tosser' thing has become cliche' in the last year or so, but it was bound to happen sooner or later, and to be honest most mockeries used arn't the best as they tend to be far overused now.
The Dragon rider but was interesting as you don't see it very often, and usualy only in stories where harry is drastically to powerful
I have to hand it too you however as you started a few major trends with this story including 'Unknowing' harry (He can do anything so long as nobody tells him it's impossible) 'Taunting' Harry (Has to have a creative monkier for voldimort) and 'Grey' harry.
I look foreward to updates of your other stories as well as any future stories you should decided to write. You're a credit to us all.

Just a brief note to say congratulations on finishing TMW. I've enjoyed every page, and have honestly found myself daydreaming parts of the story. I look forward to your next project.

sincerely

I just wanted to add a couple more things, that I forgot to include, from my earlier review..

Thank You. ! Thank You for writing this magnificent story. ! A great ending on an equally great fic.

"Them is being Dursleys," he pointed out, staring at the two one the floor.

The two on the floor, yes?

Well, now I've got the final review.

..Crap. I really hate this moment.

I can never find a way to sincerely thank the author, praise them, and yet make it clear that I'm not giving fake flattery. (Also, I can never find a way to go back and comments on all the points I'd like to make, 'specially with this story. ::looks up at the text:: ::and up:: ::and up:: ::andupandupandup:: )

So, I'll make some fast comments here.

1) Sequels. I'm rather glad you're finishing the story here, and not sequelizing it. You are right in the fact that your writing style has changed, but this last chapter (s) have needed that darker, more serious edge. This is one of those stories where adding more to it would actually be more painful.

The only thing I'd ask for more of is authors notes. It's always really interesting hearing your opinion on certain points of the story. But I digress.

2) ...I forgot what I was going to say. Which always happens when I review.

Let's see...I want to sincerely thank you for writing this. I've waited in anticipation, and I can say, it was WAY more than worth it. While there's quite a bit of OOC (and I can't say I particularly loved the Bellatrix ending [die evil b ****!] with Snape), it's a story that seems like one of those "this could have happened" stories.

Definatly one of the greats.

I'm honestly trying to find a way to thank you, and praise your for this, but everything I try to type just falls flat.

So I'll just say;

Thank you.

I finished this a couple of days ago, but I had printed it out, since I haven't been at my computer much, so this is my first chance to leave a review.

I did notice that your writing style changed over the course of the story, but I didn't think it had a negative effect on the story in any way.

I remember when I first started reading TMW, I took a printed copy down to the basement and sat on the recumbent bike to ride a few miles, but I had to stop within the first 5 minutes, because I was laughing so hard that I couldn't pedal any more.

Ever since that night, I've been waiting for each subsequent update. I was never disappointed by the story. I loved every minute of it.

Well, I for one say Thank You! This was the first real story I can remember reading that got me into fanfiction, especially yours, and I am happy to see it finished. I think the ending worked, even with the missing elements. But one question, what were there costumes for the ball going to be?

I absolutely loved the Hermione prank about the "silencing charms" played on Ginny! That all all of the Monty Python references made my day.

Thank you for TMW.

It was simply wonderful!

Thank you so much for finishing this. It is one of the most fun and light hearted pieces of Potter fan fiction I have ever read. The laughter than rained through my house as both myself and my daughters read this, was such a stress relief after a long day at the office! As a new Potter fanfic author myself, I admire your creativity with the concept of MMail and applaud your positive and hope filled ending. I just hope the real ending to this story will be as promising.

Joe Ritter posted a comment on Thursday 1st March 2007 10:10am

Woohoo! I loved it all.

The last chapter does reflect a change in your writing but that's the coolest part. Real change is an amazing thing to behold. I for one stand in awe of what you've done with this story.

Thanks for writing your vision and more importantly sharing it with all of us. Please continue to share your vision.

Took you long enough, mate - still a thoroughly entertaining piece of fiction, though, and that's really what we're all about, right?

Now, bring on the end of Hope! :D
