The story ages reasoably well. It does so because it a character driven story with a little bit of action. Not bad for a 12 year old story.

Something that always disturbed me about Buffy and Angel or Spike. They're vampires. They have no bloody low because they have no blood. So... HOW exactly do they get it up?

I'll admit I only picked this one up from your mention of it in another fic, and Buffy isn't exactly something I am very familiar with... but that said this is/ was a damn good story, lots of fun and emotive stuff with a good dose of engaging drama thrown in.

Dang. I was reading Hogwarts Dawn and spotted your note at the end of the recent chapter about a possible Xander/Faith fic, and I've liked all your HP works so I checked out this section. Next to Faith, Dawn is my favorite BtVS character, so I've enjoyed this story, but was very sad to reach the end and see it's been like 9 years since it got updated. Hopefully you get the inspiration to finish the last chapter or two you mentioned, and I'm also looking forward to your Xander/Faith upcoming fic. Thanks for writing this, even incomplete it's been very enteretaining and touching - you really hit the Dawn/Xander relationship dead on and had a very natural progression of it.

Since it's been nearly ten years since this was written I'm going to assume it's dead. Which is a shame since it's a forthright Xander with no extra magic - heat sensing eye notwithstanding - and a Dawn who's being sensible about dating him. You also have Xander fighting the good fight with backup - which is excellent.

I just read through all the chapters and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'd like to see how you bring Buffy and Willow back from their hells and make them adapt and grow.

I love your writing, but this is the first time I've ventured to the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" section of your works. Now I'm wondering why I waited so long. My greatest disappointment is that you haven't updated these stories, especially this one, in so long that it can probably be considered abandoned.
