Oh my gosh! You are so awesome. I am rather sad that there is only one part left though. Keep up the good work!

Damn. There aren't words for this. This chapter is one of the best things I've ever read in the HP universe. Congratulations.

DAMM!! That last bit was fantastically inspiring! Though, been reading Anne McCaffery again? *grins*
The Spy......GAH! I fell for one of the oldest tricks in the book. 1) The ministry cant do anything right. 2) Never expect anyone to stay dead. 3) They arent dead till you've watched them die and seen their corpse, then incinerated it. THEN, dont be positive.
Brilliant chapter, I am SOOOO looking foreward to the final installment. For some reason i'm picturing a VERY outnumbered and out-gunned Voldemort watching as his forces are evaporated (yes, thats the right word) very quickly.

I have two words: Holy Crap! That chapter was really long, and really awesome. It may be a story, but there are many parts in which you can picture in your mind and feel the intensity of the emotions of the characters . . .

Thank you, Jeconais...
Thank you for giving me (and all your other fans) the chance to read your work...
"This means War" was one of the first stories that got me addicted to fanfiction.. an imho the most brilliant story I've ever read..

That was a truly awe-inspiring chapter-part. The plot twists, the majestic imagery, the entertaining characters and character interactions, and the entertaining story line makes this one of the best works of fiction I've ever read. You (and your betas) have done an awesome job.

I think without a doubt that this has to be one of the all time best chapters that I have ever read. I believe that was the most awe inspiring piece of writing that ever I have seen.

Oh man! I keep forgetting to go back and write the review for the last part (I just had my pre-chapter spazz written, had been planning on writing up my post-chapter review), and then saw this was up, and so was going to do a double review, but I'd need as many pages at this chapter is taking!
Yikes.
Alrighty....let's see. It seems that Harry learning about his ability with Magic was a good thing, because now he can handle it completely.
Interesting bit with the werewolves (both chapters), as well as the interaction and how Harry works as a wolf.
I feel so sorry for N. Malfoy. WHo the hell thought that sort of outfit would have been attractive?! ::shudders:: Ick. Loved her comeback bit. Heehee, if Harry wasn't so ... him, she'd have him in a puddle on the ground.
The fact that Volde-shit would BELIEVE those mushy icky mmails, ::double shudder:: My god, the sap was oozing off of those things! He really IS a retard!
Nice bit with Azkaban, it explains a lot. Including the spy bit.
Interesting play with the Goblins, though to be honest, I would've expected Harry to say something like "sure, do it of your own free will, I won't pay you for helping, but that reminds me that I wanted to anonymously donate the equivalent price to Gringotts".
Damn, you let the Dursley's off easy. But wait, the Weasley's still got their bit to add, yes? SO I can forgive you. ::evil cackle::
Amazing chapters, can't wait for the last bit!
Keep it up!

Harry In Spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaacccccccceeeeeeeeee!!!!
WOW!
Percy should have seen something wrong in Azkaban a long time ago - any *real* bureaucrat knows that it is simply *impossible* to actually run a department perfectly. For starters, there's never enough time. If everything looks perfect, then all you're seeing is exactly what they want to show you, and they're keeping you from seeing the mistakes. Still, it's a common failing, and so I can't be too harsh on poor Percy. It is a logical leak in Azkaban, though, and one that will have to be fixed.
And now, the stage is set for Chapter 12, aka Chapter 10c - the final showdown. Mountains will fall, continents will rise, cats and dogs (Hermione's and Ron's animagus forms - it's so obvious!) will sleep together... The Wizarding World is Dead, Long Live The Wizarding World!

That was just.....hot damn!
Love Jenny.
Love Dursley interactions.
Love spy catching.
Love, er, boobs. ;)
Love dragons.
Love. It. All.
Won't say more here, in case someone reads the reviews before the chapter itself.
Thanks, Tim, for another awesome hour in your imagination!
Meg

My God, but you write beautifully.
I only hope that I can produce prose half so lyrical, and a quarter as touching.
Philipe posted a comment on Thursday 1st February 2007 2:56pm
Tim,
That was beautiful.. The sentiment on the last part was palpable.. It's a very impressive writing (no surprises there)..
I was a little confused by Harry after the wolf, and i'm not sure it really fits all that much with the rest, be i was expecting that, we all were.. but Wolf harry seems to fit the plot like a rubber glove on ER..
The whole chapter was very moving, and the last part even better then when G&H are watching the city from above, in a earlier chapter.. I sincerely love it.
Congrats to all your Betas as well for a wonderful job. Now, waiting for the next chapter.
PS - I hate you. That was a mean spy. pouts heavily. Why didn't i think of that.. Grrrr.. ;)

I am a firm believer in the right of an author to use cliffhangers as a way to make their audience wait. I think it's an especially useful tool for fanfiction writers, as the reader doesn't have the option to immediately continue on. Regular authors can only do this at the end of books, and it is especially evil when there is no sequel to that book. But, although it makes your readers fret, they know there will be a next chapter eventually. And that, although long winded, is my reason for never, ever coming after an author for leaving a cliffhanger. Although... I do sometimes come at them with a "That's evil, now you must update soon" but that's a heat of the moment thing. I never blame them. It's a very useful tool. In fact, I respect you even more for taking advantage of it. It's a very good thing, it really keeps the reader interested. Wow, ok, I'm officially ranting, I'll go away now. I loved the chapter, as always, and I like them long, it means each time you update there's plenty to love, not just two pages of goodness, but almost a hundred.
