Severus Officially Gets A Clue, and smacks down Minerva in the process (concerning Harry). Harry is growing both as a person, and magically, with an ease that is plain and simply *frightening*. He's getting just as powerful using wandless magic as he is using a wand (if anything, he is elevating wandless magic to an art form). The Mmails are flying fast and furious between all parties. Pansy talks Marietta into trying to set Cho after Harry again, and Bellatrix wants out of the Death Eaters (you DID read that right; in fact, she sent several Mmails to Severus on the subject and wants him to bend Harry's ear). Harry and Aberforth talk to Fred and George about kickstarting Honest Abe's Original Butterbeer and create Original Butterbeer plc (A Brit Master Limited Partnership with a 30/30/30/5/5 split with Fred, George, Aberforth Dumbledore, Harry, and Ginny). Abe also becomes a consultant to WWW.

Food or shower fun...
Even skipping a meal id go with the shower fun all the time. As a matter of fact, id need to go about 2 days without food before I considered that over the shower. Ehh guess his priorities really are skewed :)

Great story, love the writing style. Bring the next chapter, anxiously awaiting it heh.

It seems as though the quality of writing is much higher towards the end than it is in the beginning. Perhapse after you've finished the story you might want to go back and reqrite statements such as "...the sinister laugh sent chills down his back".

God! You have me on the edge of my seat! The spy's Pansy, right? I mean, Draco's w/Terry, so I'm kinda ruling him out, and Pansy did try to split Harry and Ginny up through Marietta...So I'm guessing her. Please write more, or I'll be forced to write ff of this ff. And believe me, that's torture. Especially for the readers.

Actually, the premise of Mmail being similar to Muggle e-mail (which itself started with the original ARPANET in the US) is more a case of *great minds think alike* than anything else. What people don't realize is that ARPANET itself (which is still the core of the commercial Internet) is almost thirty years old, and, with judicious hardware and software updates, is not only still extant, but still in use. (The government side of ARPANET morphed into MILNET, and, later, into the .GOV and .MIL domains of the current Internet; my own first e-mail address was on MILNET in 1985, while working for the Navy as a civilian.) The model for Hogwarts' Magical Area Network is not the Local Area Network, but the much larger Metropolitan Area Network, with a gateway to the rest of WizardNet (actually, two such gateways; one at Hogwarts itself, and a second at, fittingly, the Ministry Building, which is also home to the WizardNet/Muggle Internet gateway). The idea of the Death Eaters monitoring the WizardNet/Muggle Internet gateway makes all sorts of sense; as long as the various ARPANET and successor gateways with the commercial Internet have existed, we have ALWAYS been warned that it is HIGHLY LIKELY to suspect adversarial monitoring of the traffic through said gateways, as they are in fixed, and easily located, areas. This is *precisely* why Harry wanted to meet with Dudley (and later, Dean Thomas) in corpus, for security reasons.

To the teeth of my review of this chapter:

Severus DEFINITELY has a clue. And, oddly enough, so does *Dudley Dursley*. And so do the rest of the Hogwarts staff. (And, amazingly, so does the future *Bellatrix Snape*. Yes, I said *Snape*, so get your jaws off the floor.) Vernon and Petunia Dursley are in so much hot water that they will get *parboiled*.....

If I were the Weasley Brothers, I would be scared. VERY scared. Son of a Marauder, godson of another, and a wizard that has the rather frightening capability of NO limits on what he can do magically (Portkeys on Mmail attachments?)....*YIKES*! Even Severus Snape (not to mention half the Slytherins) has a clue, and want to be on the side Harry is on.

I like this story - read nearly six times through so far, and will likely continue to reread it - it's that good!

Constructive criticism: nothing to point except the infrequent grammar errors that always seem to creep into one's writing (and while I am in no means in your league, I have a few posted stories, none of which I have been able to make completely free of such). Great characterizations, smooth flow from scene to scene, and a blend of genres that leaves you hungry for more (like you couldn't guess...).

About the only thing I'd like to know really is if there is a prequel story or chapter or two (and I did see the note directly above that states this is not a sequel or remake) as there are several things alluded to - such as the mmails that Harry kept sending off to Sirius that summer, and how Sirius eventually got back.

And now, I will step over to that corner and wait patiently (read: camp your site and check every day) for the final chapter. I agree whole-heartedly with your sentiment - write it the way it should be, don't be pushed into doing it - not that it's my decision, but I hate it when I see a good author stop writing because people keep begging for the next chapter. See ya!

I sincerely hope that you will update this story soon! As much as I totally love Hope... this story is still as fresh and excitingly fun to read as it was the first time I read it... please poke your muses and ask them for inspiration...

I do believe a bit of kowtowing to Jeconais is in order. The characterization of those responsible for the sudden doubling of the already huge Weasley family is superb, as is the plot line on the whole. And of course, there's the fact that this is the only thing I have ever read that has had me comparing Harry Potter to Michael Corleone.

This also gives me an opportunity to declare my support for the Blaise As A Girl Society (BAAGS). Let this message reach all fanfic authors: While the estimable Ms. Rowling may have declared Blaise Zabini's official gender as male, these are fanfics. All you have to do to legitimize the change is add on to the concept of your fanfic, "Oh, yeah, and what if Blaise were female." Besides, she's always a much better character than as a he (examples: Draco664, Jeconais, (to a lesser extent) Full Pensieve). All hail her and the rest of Harry's Girls, also known as the Harry's Room Decorating Club (HaRD Club). And I shall end the odd acronyms by saying that I am one of the many members of the Chapter Ten Desiring League (ChaTDel) (less obvious; try saying this aloud: "I'm ChaTdel.")

I couldn't find this chapter anywhere. I love where this is going. So one more chapter. I'm so excited. This story has just been great. Keep it up.

Thank you for updating with that message that you havn't abandoned This Means War. I really appreciate it, since I was worried you had abandooned it. It's a really great story. ANyway, I was hoping that this massive wait meant it was going to be a huge long chapter (hopefully up soon). Can't wait.
