I am greatly enjoying this story so far. Most of the humor is gone by this last chapter, but there are a few sweet spots. Harry has a bit of a cheating advantage because his magic will help to heal him as he rests. Can't wait for the next fight with the Ministry and to see them have their hats handed to them. We haven't heard much from Voldemort, but that is probably because the final task has not come up yet. I dread the cat fight that is going to come out between Kate and Fleur, but I think Fleur would be a better relationship match.
This story is remarkably just like one I have read on fanfiction . net and everything seems to identical up to Harry being thrown in jail where it stopped. I cannot remember what it was called, but I do not think it was the same name. Just thought you should know in case someone is posting your stuff there.

Oddly enough, that's the best Snapedeath that I've read in a long time. It was all the more gripping that Snape had realised he had pushed Harry too far and had decided that he wasn't going to demean himself by running or making a pointless attempt to defend himself. This was a Harry who coldly took a life with premeditation. What is interesting is that it is a Harry who was aware that what he did was a sin and would be punishing himself for it for the rest of his life.
That bit of writing reminds me why you are one of the better writers out there in the HP verse. I have to say that I was losing interest in the fandom but you reminded me of what I like in it. Well done!

Dear Tim,
I can't believe how good this story is! I sat down and read both chapters without stopping. I'm just glad that more than two chapters, because once I start read your stories I can't stop.
Thank you
John

Great chapter, the drunken food fight was the high point of the chapter!

A great chapter and thanks for it.
I am glad Harry had a good night.
How Harry spoke to Gabrielle was well done, telling her he loved her was the perfect thing to say it’s not often Harry says those words to anyone but Gabrielle would greatly appreciate them especially as "I do love you" emphasises that he does and more so than the ladies he was with.
I adore the cute moments between Gabrielle and Harry but there are times I wish she was older as she might struggle to find someone who loves her as much as does Harry and she does deserve the best. Harry with his good nature, capacity and desire to love he really does need and deserve the intense and expressive love of a Veela. Harry would always know he is loved with a Veela and that is something he needs.
A lap dwelling Veela would make Harry’s day better after dealing with Snape. I am pleased Harry is using his necklace.
An informative conversation between Fleur and her sister about the nature of the relationship Gabrielle has with Harry and what Fleur could have with him. Gabrielle was direct but her words the truth. The joy a Harry hug gives her was sweet. I look forward to Harry/Fleur I am a big fan of the pairing.
Great lines "I will never ask my people to do something I wouldn’t do myself" and "Why stop when you could block?"
I am pleased at the fate of Snape and that he died with dignity as I think he would face death with great stoicism no matter what. A very effective way to deal with the body and some good will from giant man eating spiders is always good to have.
A nice line and a polite one "you’re a lady of negotiable affection"
A well done talk between Kate and Harry she really is an amazing friend, smart, insightful, logical and with great empathy. It was a good idea to mention Harry’s as often their memory can be manipulated or used to guilt trip or control Harry yet their expectations is something he needs to deal with. The pre-meditated murder was vital as well, Harry will have to kill Riddle so being prepared for it and why will make killing him easier.
The hug from Gabrielle was welcome as well.
Its unfortunate Harry told Hermione I am surprised she took it so well. Melissa is right Harry told too many people although I think Gabrielle would be aware of it but she obviously understands and still loves him regardless.
Yes its not often we see Fleur smile, she would look radiant I hope she will smile more as we have yet to really see the nice or softer side of her.
I am happy for Gabrielle she finally get to sleep with Harry and got to wake him up as that I think is something she would be good at. I bet Fleur enjoyed her long lie.
A brilliant way to pierce Gabrielle’s ears, Harry did the right thing; I am pleased he got his ear done as well. No pain is always a good thing so well done Harry ensuring Gabrielle did not hurt or get upset.
Harry took travelling in style to heart if he could dance while travelling and not miss a step, very impressive and a welcome change as Harry tends to find magical transport difficult.
Gabrielle perched on Smasher’s shoulders is always fun to imagine.
I am pleased Harry did not remove his necklace.
A great day for Harry he does not often have fun.
I had forgotten about the flirting between Harry and Michael it was well done and very entertaining as such banter is rarely done by Harry.
A Kate and Fleur teaming up would finish any man except Harry I can hope/dream of such a thing by stories end. There were most impressive.
Fleur would have good taste even if she would look good in anything.
"Gabrielle patted him consolingly, and then went back to devouring her food" and a good little detail to include as was how Gabrielle healed the bruising.
An excellent line one Harry should remember "You make your own luck." Or maybe someone was referring to the liquid luck potion.
Thank you for having Harry do something about Snape as its rare for him to do so even with Harry having every reason to deal with him.
Kick boxing is a change.
Very cool working at the school that was part of Hogwarts.
I have always thought Hogwarts was a terrible school aside from not being safe, the education is poor and there is nothing to do for most people, students would turn to the Dark Arts just for something to do.
Cheers for the two chapters, I am so very happy the story is continuing and I eagerly anticipate the next chapter.

So, it's Red's 'fault' that I'm reading this? And here I was thinking I had suddenly gotten mental powers, as I was on the site yesterday, and read other stories, while pondering if and when the next chapter was to come. Imagine my surprise when 'I' got not one but two today.
The Snape thing was HARSH, and I would expect it to affect Harry...but it certain was new and diffrent.
For general, and mostly useless, knowledge, Brass Monkeys have, originally tails, ears, nose or whiskers, and later balls, to freeze off, because of the cold, but it would need to be REALLY cold for that.
And, witches, originally thought to be in league with the devil, would have little to no maternal feeling at all, leaving their tit very 'cold' for any potential child to suckle at.
Thus, Brass Tits and Witches Monkeys, as it were.
Oh, and kick-boxing isn't a martial art? Since when? *curious* The only system I know of that isn't, is Krav Maga.

"The bouts are judged on points. You get points for punches to the body, front side or back of the head, kicks to the body, full sweep — and if you do sweep, your hands and body can’t touch the floor. Kicks to the head, jumping kicks to the body get you more points, and the most points is for jumping kicks to the head.
"Illegal moves are dropping to the floor to avoid being hit, hitting the opponent in the back of the head, on the back, the neck or the shoulders, or the groin. No elbow strikes and spinning back fists either."
in the first paragraph, you say they get points for punches to the back of the head, and in the next, you say hitting the back of the head is an illegal move. So they get points for illegal hits?

An outstanding chapter will a bit of everything, a joy to read.
Thanks for the chapter I am glad you are enjoying Scotland even with your poor internet speed, which is unusually slow I live in Scotland and get about 54Mbps. Thanks for not letting a frustratingly slow download speed put you off my homeland.
Gabrielle had to miss Harry terribly and she does give nice and much needed hugs to Harry which I think he would miss also. A very nice moment/reunion. I now think Veela can search souls it would be a useful and necessary skill for a Veela and a child most of all.
I am glad the Sorting Hat got to say something as Harry is the best chance of achieving House Unity before he leaves.
The bone crushing hugs were unexpected but a nice gesture from Crusher and Smasher. It’s nice to see a friendly side to them.
The hug from Fleur was a bonus but I think her sister gives the best hugs of the two.
Squisher could end up with an Order of Merlin for what she did to Snape.
An unusual but welcome twist regarding Dobby but it makes sense he wanted to be free so long to give it up so soon even to be bound to Harry. Tilly will be a good elf, getting Hermione to give up s.p.e.w now that is magic and worthy of an Order of Merlin, an award to the school or a chocolate frog card.
This insult was new to me "A yeasty, hedge-born, foot-licker?" so thanks for that always good to lean new things.
Waving to the Headmaster, brilliant and very funny it takes away some of the awe he inspires which I thing he is not worthy of, people seeing him as a man rather than an icon or Hero will be for the greater good.
Well said and done to Snape, lets hope Albus has hand wash in his office.
Harry giving a big hug while welcome was most unexpected, I wonder if Fred will gloat he got a big hug from Harry and if George will want one too.
Everybody wanting out of the Tournament is a wonderful twist, Snape suffering is a bonus and no more Snape’s will benefit the whole world. Gabrielle won’t want to sleep with anyone else if she can sleep with Harry as he recovers from the night before.
Getting people to wave at Albus every time they seem him could become a new trend, the group waving to him makes it even funnier. If the elves, ghosts and portraits start doing it too, waving to the Headmaster could be a new Hogwarts tradition that lasts for ages. A pity the Sorting Hat can’t wave, maybe a body could be made for it or arms so it can.
Perfect timing for Gabrielle to way up, I am pleased the war was won before she did, she is a lady after all and should not have to witness such horrific warfare.
It was sweet how Harry put Gabrielle to bed; Harry will make an excellent father. She is the ideal person to wake him as he would never be grumpy or angry at her and if she made a fuss he would be up in a second or move mountains for her, as he should he does have the power to.
Well done and said by Olympe, I never thought of it before but Hogwarts really does treat the students like children, the use of points which is largely useless if you or a teacher don’t care about them, pointless detentions and really nothing to do or look forward to as you get older or are a teenager like Balls, parties or even trips.
Good names for the Grangers and a change from the usual.
Sirius will want and treasure the memory of what was done to Snape and the food fight for the rest of his days, he might even want his portrait to remember it or be able to watch it even after death.
I loved how both Minerva and Albus were talked to by the Grangers and what was done to Albus I have always been curious as to what would happen if Harry or another Champion left or refused to take part I am so happy Albus will find out.
Sirius given a trial is good news.
I am so happy for Melissa I really like her the distilled Slytherin Creed was perfect.
Thanks for having Gabrielle glow had she not had the chance to I would have been disappointed. Harry carrying her always makes me smile such a simple act that can mean so much and let Gabrielle feel she is loved.
Some truly impressive skills Harry has, which is fantastic as usually he is so shy or passive. Harry really must have a Veela girlfriend and wife only a Veela could withstand his power and enjoy it without loosing herself.
An excellent end to the chapter, it’s good to be Harry Potter. The Churchill quote is one of my favourites as is Brass Monkeys.

Two excellent Chapters after a lon-n-n-ng pause. Glad to see new stuff going up for you again. I know you have maintained that you will never outdo some of your earlier work, but you don't have to. Keep writing and just explore new directions. Even the "Immortals" like Robert Heinlein and Arthur Clark didn't write their best work every time they wrote, from the view point of some fans, but they kept on writing, and that was what was most important.

'"Fleur and Harry sitting in a tree," Gabrielle chanted happily, "F — U — C — …"
"Gabrielle Anne Delacour!"'
This had me laughing loudly. :-)

WOW. Wowowowow. What a treat! What a fab day. I even managed to be quite productive and get stuff done before I was sucked into this awesomely fun fanfiction world. Yay for an original solution to the Snape problem, I liked Hogwarts helping Harry.
Thanks a bunch, Tim! And please, do write up your thoughts on Hogwarts as boarding school. I've nothing to compare it with, but it still seems pretty crappy to me. :-)
