Fleur seem more likeable in this chapter, I still have the opinion that I hope that Harry end up with someone else.

Thanks for the update.

I am rather concerned with Harry. All his "love" interests seem to have severe emotionaly/psychological problems.

At the rate he is going, he'll end up with Gabby when she is 18 and he is an old man.

Is there any Voldie and his DEs that will upset things?

It's interesting to hear you point out that your plan of it being a Harry/Fleur and have it not actually turn out that way. I like that, I like how you have written the story such that it can change direction and be the better for it. Just as an aside, I'm 'ship neutral, it's the quality of the story I am interested in, not the 'ship.

I appreciate the effort you put into this story, keep up the fantastic work and I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

Thank You for the update! While i am looking forward to time moving a bit faster(i.e. more than one day passing) i love this story. I was so excited to see an update from you. This Perfect Slytherins and Konoha's Legion are some of the only fics that i've found recently that are worth reading.

While I'm sorry to hear that personal events have left you cynical, I will say that just in the context of the story, the pairing didn't seem to work out well.

As I mentioned in my last review, Harry was maturing and Fleur was not. In here, she admits her fears and works towards her goal. That is a good start.

We'll see how things go next (:

I still think that this is one of your most enjoyable stories to date, and I'm pretty sure I've read everything you've put out in fanfic at least several times over. I like the change in direction relationship-wise; I think it would have felt forced to have Harry and Fleur get together at this point in the timeline.

Regardless of my baseless opinions, this is a great story, and thank you for the update. I look forward to the next chapter.

Now the Gryffindors - especially the bunch that turned their backs on Harry at the start of this interesting story - have got massive egg on their faces.

What's worse, there's next to nothing they can do to change it.

Thanks for the update! I'm constantly surprised and amused by the twists this story takes. I'm actually surprised that Albus is aware of Harry and the others planning to leave at the end of the school year and isn't trying to interfere, which is a nice change.

Anyway, that's enough for now, I've got stories of my own to work on.

I really liked Gabrielle's point of view in that last chapter. I know that children have a tendency to put their parental figures on a pedestal, but I don't think I've ever seen it done for someone else. At the very least, I've never read and understood that point of view quite so effectively.

On the other hand, I'm worried about Gabrielle when she finally realizes that Harry isn't really a god. Granted, this is Jeconais fan fiction, meaning he's probably pretty damn close, but I'm sensing a rather unusual darkness here. Harry is strong, yes, but the conflicts within this story haven't been of a physical nature. They've been mental, ideological, and political. You're not pitting Harry against Voldemort, you're pitting him against society, his friends and himself. Those are conflicts where physical and magical strength just don't matter.

I'm also curious as to where Harry's relationship status is going to go. I get the feeling that he's mostly just along for the ride, so I can only wonder how this odd triangle thing will work out. Kate is pushing him towards Fleur, Fleur isn't conflident enough in herself to accept, and Kate seems to have written herself off entirely.

As far as I'm concerned, Kate has grown on me considerably since the beginning of the story. Originally she was a devastatingly beautiful courtesan, but she's become something more as the story progressed. She's more than a tutor to him, she's someone he can depend on. It wasn't Fred or George or Hermione or Dumbledore that he went to after he killed Snape; it was Kate. Whether Harry realizes it or not, that really means something.

Anyway, this really feels like a step up from your previous writing. As much as Hope is one of my all time favorite fan fics, the conflict had already passed in that story. Hope was more of an extended, very happy, epilogue. In this story, Harry is still fighting his battles and absolutely everything is still up in the air. Harry is remarkably powerful, but the world is giving him a run for his money. It's happy, but there's tension and uncertainty. It's very good.

So it would seem that every time I read one of your stories, the first chapter makes me grin, and by I'm at the last (or in this case, most recent) chapter, I'm in hysterical laughter. Every one of your stories has something new and unique to it, and that's a very difficult feat, even for the best of writers. I applaud you.
