Wonderful, absolutely wonderful. Riveting, exciting, and very romantic. A good read in it's entirety. I hope that you will continue.

Tim;
I started Hope a long time ago and promptly forgot about it. Today I found it again, and boy am I glad. There are so many things in this story that I absolutely love; honestly, I couldn't begin to name them. I am not surprised, though, I have this reaction to everything you write.
This is an excellent example of just why your fanfic (and by the by, the work of those on your site, here) is truly worth reading.
Things I like (of course I will forget some...)
Hermione not being "forgiven" - good show
"Min" - my favorite professor bar none
Gabby - a beautifully fleshed out character (please, this is not meant to be in any way raunchy) she has heart, spirit, intelligence, and wit. *I* would be in love with her, and I'm a 34 year old woman! ;-)
Harry - I'm so glad you let him grow up. I like him grown up.
The Beauxbatons Faculty Quidditch team. Yahoo!!! that was great. And Lee commentating? How perfect is that. Of course the "Harry's Heros" Quidditch team will hire him as an announcer, right???
Mme Maxime - I love her character. Together with St. Margarets (Mary), you two have an amazing gift for taking characters that are somewhat peripheral to the canon story and building a whole world around them.
Love the visits...Merlins' cave, how great is that? Harry Black...wonderful (though it does remind me of one of my top 5 hilarious fanfics: Make a Wish by Rorshach's Blot on ff.net. Harry is "Mr. Black" in it); shopping in Milan oh I could just DIE! I love Milan, though me personally, I would've gone shopping in Firenze, but I'm a teensy bit biased about that
Hmmmm...ol' Trelawney as a devious sneakie poo, didn't see that one coming
Snape & Malfoy bleghhh
Is Dumbledore under a potions influence? I mean, even for "manipulative!Dumbledore" he seems really out of it - schizoaffective really.
oh me...I guess that's enough for now.
I anxiously await your next installment.
Cheers!
Cassie
ps: what's the story with Remus, Tonks, and Cho's betrayal? Have you already written that one? I'd love to read the "final battle." CP

Wow! I'm so excited that Harry has finally caught on. And the Quidditch and dueling scenes were amazing. You have done an amazing job with these characters. I am so attached to them, and I really try not to do so and read a story objectively first. But I just can't help loving (or hating) them. It's really quite a fabulous expierience. And I can't wait until Harry finally officially accepts Gabby. It's going to be so romantic! Aaah, listen to me, you've made me into a sap! Damnit! I can't get enough, I am forever waiting until your next update.
Faithfully,
Mashimaromadness

I just read the entire story over again and I wanted to (re) tell you how much I like it. For some reason, your Harry is one of my favorites. The way you describe him just brings him alive to me - and it seems so right. I think I fell in love, no matter where the story went or goes, when Harry first jumped onto his broom with Gabby. But yeah.
As far as the phrase "if thats what you think, you've got another think/g coming", it /is/ "think". But it's almost always used wrongly these days, so it makes SENSE for you to use "thing". But thats just me being the daughter of an english teacher.
Anyways, I can't wait for more, because I truely am excited to see where the story goes. THis story is absolutely awesome.

GREAT CHAPTER!!!
I can't wait for the next chapter to be released! Please hurry and take us out of our misery.
Just one qualm though, in this entire story, you make Trelawny seem much more intelligent, manipulative, and revengeful than her original character was portrayed. I'm not complaining or anything, but I've always figured her as the self-absorbed type that puts too much faith in her own prowess at "seeing".

Holy cow! That was an incredible chapter J! Really awesome work with the quid matches, especially Harry's Heroes vs the Warty Hogwartians! Too frickin awesome! The various talks with people like Viktor and co and the setup of malfoy were brilliant as was how you handled harrys and gab's reactions! Awesome chapter! You da man!

Another excellent chapter. Though there are many reasons for him not to in this construction of things, I wonder what your plan for the name of the new quiddich team will be.
I've always been interested that J.K. Rowling never gave Hogsmead "The only all wizarding village in Britain" its own team....or at least so I think.
Looking forward to soem of the other stuff that you recently said is in beta....and of course to another chapter of this excellent tale, whenever it is ready.

Hello again, while I reviewed this story already I felt compelled to mention something that has been bothering me. While your story is very, very, very good I can't help but be bothered by the Trelawney scene.
While it makes for a great ending I feel that based on your description of Harry in Ch 5: Barcelona that Harry should have known (in NY) that someone was watching him. I re-read the scene and no matter how enamoured he was in this chapter I would say it was no different than Ch 5 (just my opinion on that of course).
Thought it was worth mentioning. I will patiently await the next chapter to see what happens with Harry & Gabby.

brilliant brilliant and more brilliant! I really love you work! I truly enjoy how though harry is a powerful wizzard that alone does not really impact the flow of the story, he still has hurdles to overcome and long range plans to bring out. Thank you!!
