Tim,
I must say that this chapter was your best so far in "Hope". I especially loved the dancing scene, I felt like I was right there in the club with H&G, watching them dance together. You truly have a gift for taking your readers so completely into your universe that it becomes so real. We get to experience everything from the look of Gabriel in her dancing outfit, to the smell of booze on Harry's breath.
I loved drunk Ron and Harry, I've always been curious what Harry would be like completely pissed, and that scene far surpassed my imagination.
Thank you for your writtings, and thank you for blessing us, your fans, with the privilage of reading them.
Keep up the good work, I look forward to seeing Gabriel make Harry weak in the knees!!

Back when chapter two was out, I often despaired that this was probably my all-time most favourite HP fanfic, and that it wasn't continuing at all. I feel very empathetic with Gabrielle's feelings towards her Mate, as I sometimes catch myself having similar thoughts about this fic. :D I'm definitely rooting for the story here, very good work all in all!

:) Wow. A bit on the cheesy side, but so wondrously so. I don't want to beg for updates pathetically just now (it's late, and I'm too tired to do it coherently), so I'll just end this review here, with the repeated statement that you are a stunning writer.

Wow! It's been quite a while since I've read a story that was so enthralling that I didn't want to go to bed at night-just wanted to read the rest. I know that in the end Harry and Gabrielle will be together, but I can't wait to find out how! Keep up the good work, and I look forward to reading more hopefully soon.

I've read all your harry potter fics. i started with TMW, which i thought had better ideas than it was written (not a knock on your writing, just that it seemed a bit ... off to me). Then i read the Pansy fic, and I thought that your writing had improved, and now? you are definitely one of my favorite writers. this fic is doing great. Thank you for this.

Another excellent chapter. I can't begin to explain the high regard in which I hold your talent. You paint lives with words. You make words live and breathe and feel and you make them convey it all to your readers. I have yet to read anything you've written that I didn't enjoy immensely. Never stop writing. There are too few like you out there and too many wannabes.

Wonderful! This is really good. Thank you for picking up this one. It is really a refreshing story about trials, love and committment. I love the way you are handling all the interrelated relationships such as Harry and Ron and Hermione plus the new elements such as Gabrielle.
I am one of your biggest fans for TMW but i would rather wait than have you rush and ending to what is one of my favorite fan fics. Thank you for writing. I really appreciate your time and talent.

I read the Quidditch training with interest as I've never gone into that much detail about what drill etc would be run.

I enjoyed the interaction with Ron and Hermione, possibly because Hermione was on the back foot, but I think it was more than that, *grins*

Eric Canton eh? Did he have his collar turned up ?

BTW as I type this David Tennant has just said "Barcelona"

Kokopelli's opinion heartily seconded. I wonder what's about to go wrong. Harry and Ron's reconciliation was about right but I reckon he was a bit short with Hermione - not too easy, just a bit brusque. I say that only beacuse I never leave squeeing reviews for authors who don't need them - I had to think of *something*. Gabrielle's dancing very well-written indeed, I can see where Eric's coming from quite easily. I'd have liked to see more of Harry's teaching but it would be churlish of me to complain. KUTGW and I trust Kokopelli was right.

Wow. Just wow. And a dose of amazing. I loved this chapter. And I love how Harry is falling for her.

I love how mature Gabby is, and I more than can't wait for the next part.

Please release it soon. Kind of a GoF gift.

Great episode...

could you tell "Rock art" that his beta note was not appreciated. I felt like a cat with string dangling in front of it.

This was by far the best chapter of this story - emotions were realistic, the dinner and niteclub scenes enchanting - and the characters are becoming far more likable.
Thanks for sharing.

Oohhh NICE! excellent work Jeconais, but then again, you don't give us anything less than an 'O' for OUSTANDING! :)

Very nice. Loved the dancing -- have you been to a lot of clubs? As for Harry knowing about all the sneaky stuff going on - smacks of SuperAuror!Harry, but then again, he's Harry Potter. Just wondering how he'd know about that if he's been a Quidditch star and not an Auror... maybe during the war he honed his skills... that would explain it. :)

I know you've hinted at chapter 7 having more detail on Gabby. This chapter had some hints at her personality. I'm glad you've hinted that, because so far she's still somewhat of a one-sided character. All we know is that she's smart, pretty, has Veela powers and ... that's about it. Other than flying, we haven't heard much of WHY she does (and has done) what she does. Looking forward to that.

I'm a sucker for Quidditch. I'm glad to see you putting some detail into HOW teams are chosen. Writing Quidditch is harder to do than I thought (and even harder to find good fanfic with it) so I'm looking forward to some good games - particularly with the French team squashing Draco and his Slytherins.

All in all, Likeing this much. Of all your work, this shows some great "outside the box" thinking. Everything you've done "inside" Hogwarts has been good, but everything you've done "after" Hogwarts has been top notch. To be more specific, I think your work shines when you leave the JKR playing field (Hogwarts, Hogsmeade, Privet Drive) and take us other places. This Means War! took us to a few new places. The Matroiska (sp?) Drabbles took us to Vegas. Now 'Hope' takes us to France and Spain. I think it adds so much to the flavor and texture of your writing to introduce new settings.

This post has gotten longer than I was expecting. But it's the first I've left for your works. Thanks for writing!
