I really am enjoying this story. I enjoy the way you move the story from place to place. Your descriptions are so vivid, they really pull me into the scene. Can't wait for the next chapter.

I just have to say that the descriptions of the dance scene were mesmerizing. I could feel the sensuality of the scene and picture it as if I was watching a movie. Wonderful. I am really enjoying this story.

Damn, and you are going to make us wait. Out of curosity, how many chapters is this fic going to be?

Just... wow. You have such a great touch, managing high romantic moments without the usual soppiness.

Your approach to Ron and Hermione is very interesting. I find it hard to believe that the Ron I don't much care for at this point would turn out that good... but that is neither here nor there. Hermoine I can easily see making that kind of mistake, as much as I like her.

As always, I thank you for all the hard work, and for sharing the results.

Jack

Wow, great chapter as usual. It's very romantic...
I always love to read your stories.

Keep it up.

Wow - what a chapter.

I love the way you've portrayed Harry in this, going from what seems to be a down in the dumps 15 year old in a 21 year olds body, to someone who knows himself and his life, and knows what he wants to get out of it, despite his past.

As for Ron and Hermione - I think you've portrayed them both very well, especially Ron, who you've added a whole new perspective to his character in his understanding and dealing with Hermione about Harry’s relationship. You can definitely see Ron's inner chessmaster coming out, and it’s been superbly portrayed.

Hermione is still Hermione, just a little older, though no less tenacious in what she wants, and in this chapter you've shown that despite growing up some, she's still got a few flaws that she's yet to overcome.

It shows how far Ron and Hermione’s relationship has come when, while drunk, Ron can still remember what he’s been told about swearing, and that Hermione has a bit of a kinky streak with a nurses uniform. Given how they’ve grown up in this, you can tell that it’s very much a mutually beneficial relationship.

I've lurked about in the Yahoo! group, and from the many, many posts about how this could have easily become a Dark!Harry fic, you've written all those possible plot-paths away with a degree of craftsmanship that most fan fiction writers can aspire to.

Kudos to you, Jeconais, and a nod in well deserved respect to your beta team too.

Hi Tim.
I am almost completely speechless. That was one absolutely amazing chapter. I really enjoy reading this story, especially because of the very mature interaction between the characters. The conversation between Harry and Ron, Harry and Hermione was very adult and, for this story, very in-character. (I hope you are not surprized, you are the author after all). I also enjoyed reading the conversations between Gabby and Harry; a slow and adult building of a relationship. Gabby's concern / anxiety about Harry's relationship with Ron and Hermione gave, IMHO, Gabby's character more debth (sp?).

plz update soon!!
(sorry, couldn't resist. I know you will post your next chapter when it is ready, and if it is Christmass 2006, I'll just read it then. Of course I hope (*no* pun intended!) that it will be published next Thursday)

Regards Ichtys

I'm enjoying this story a lot, but one little detail in this chapter threw me: dinner, in Barcelona, at 7:00? I don't think the good restaurants even open until 10:30.

Excellent addition. The downside is now I have to wait another week for another chapter! GRRRRR!

I don't know how you have them moving to hogwarts, but a really impressive move would be to move the entire school. Let Hogwarts wake up to find bauxbatons sitting on the other side of the quidditch pitch. :D

Wow. It's pretty amazing.

You captured the moment at the club perfectly. It felt as if I was right there watching it. It is a very powerful scene.

Keep up the good work

Great chapter. Does a good job of showing people maturing, driving the point across that they are different from back at Hogwarts. Also a very believable relationship building with Gabby.

Oh, and I agree with Harry -- If is also one of my favorite poems.

Excelent. Loved the accidentally destroy comment. Really lets us know how powerful he is. Looking forward to the next update regardless what story it is.

Very nice follow-up to the previous chapter, answering a fair number of questions and rasiing more. I like how their relationship is slowly evolving; 'til be interesting to watch.

Wonderful as always, but, again, I have one quibble.

In the line: "He tends to engage his mouth before speaking now," shouldn't that have been, "He tends to engage his _brain_ before speaking now," ?

Much wootage Tim. You've gotten past my Gabby hate. Now I'm rooting for them.

Of course, I may have to beat the living daylights out of Kokopelli, but I'm going to wait until AFTER he's finished beta'ing all the chapters.

Enjoyed Jean's slight panic over what Harry might do to the city.

This was a beautiful chapter. I usually don't review because when I finish reading, I am overwhelmed with everything and cannot explicitly discuss which exact parts I liked the best. However, I would like to comment positively on how mature and constructed your writing is. I really enjoy it, and look forward to your next chapter. I never held stock in the idea that good fanfic writers require reviews to get them going (I believe the best writers write for themselves, first; they don't pander to the audience), but if it makes a difference to you, keep up the good work. You may not need us, but I have become enthralled with your Harry/Gabrielle story, and it saddens me very much when good authors abandon great stories.

Thanks for an excellent read,
