Wow! This is such a good story. I love your long chapters. They cover a lot of ground and leave a satisfied feeling of something accomplished. So many writers set a word count for their chapters but you have a story section to complete and you do it so well. It makes is so much better for the reader to have so many people involved in the story line and all the connections are explained so the reader can appreciate them better. Thank you for the regular updates. I really appreciate your efforts. Please continue. I look forward to more of this story. pms

Wow. An honest to goodness sociopath. Definitely never saw that one coming.

The Dumbles dragon appears to be slain. The Malfoy dragon appears the be slain. We hope there is no Delacour dragon. That, and the fairy tale is usually "they lived happily ever after" when the prince and princess get together. You know, twenty chapters, or so, of Harry lining up and knocking down ducks and getting the WW to become the magical world would be fine with no major dragons to kill.

Thanks.

This is an awesome spin on the fairy tale. Love the intelligent and well-fleshed characters.

The plot is great too. But, sadly, in real life, someone making so many reforms and/or waves is always assassinated sooner or later.

Why do I have this feeling that you're going all symbolic when you talk about a dragon? What the rabid left-wingers of my youth used to sneer at as "reactionary forces", possibly led or embodied in the person of Eric, the King who falls into evil? It would certainly explain Harry invading France, and the Prince storming the castle in which his Princess is imprisoned is something that could have come out of a fairy-tale.

Eric is definitely not Jean-Paul from Hope, but I do wonder if he has the same sort of political aspirations, something which might be ended rather abruptly if the news gets out that he has a daughter who is known to have sociopathic tendencies. It could explain his anger, and also be a reason for locking Gabbi up, if that happens.

Meantime, in a mixed metaphor that I ought be be ashamed of (but I'm not), Whirlwind Harry-and-Gabbi continues to blow through the British magical world, flattening everything in it path like a steamroller. And soon just a little of that wind of change will leak into part of the Muggle world, specifically a certain village in Surrey... I'm looking forward to that.

But then, like a lot of people, I'm looking forward to everything about this fic. Roll on next Thursday!

Lovely chapter, as usual. I am enjoying this characterization of Harry and Gabrielle.

a very great chapter. you had Harry just say that whole speech and there wasn't even Hermione there to take notes.
You have to keep this up, your doing a great job.
I will be waiting for more.

*Laughs* Ah, yes, such a fun time for all concerned. We do get a much better "feel" for Gabrielle in this chapter and it deepens our understanding of her and what she's accomplished. I almost feel sorry for those who try and stand in Harry's way, I doubt they realize just how much power and "pull" he has and just how far reaching his intentions are, and they won't realize this until too late since I rather suspect that few will really note his comments at the end of this chapter. He really spells out his long-term goals here and makes them quite individually desireable.

She nodded. She nodded. "I used to compete in dance competitions, but I was banned."
"Why?"
"My partner tripped and fell on me. I didn’t admit until later that he had broken one of my ribs."
Harry winced.
"I wanted to win," she said. "They thought it wasn’t healthy for me to do that."

LOL! She's singleminded alright. I've done things like that when I'm really stubborn.
I think your view of Gabrielle the sociopath is interesting. There are a lot more sociopaths around than people think and most of them live fairly ordinary lives, not like in the media, just being charming and manipulative. You should read about organizational psychopaths. They're fascinating. Half the time they make themselves absolutely vital to the organisation in some way, so that without them things fal to pieces.

Very good, and liked the explanation about Gabby, and with that, going to definitely look forward to more of the parents, Harry and Gabrielle at school, and what happens when the dragon makes it's formal appearance, and it the Prince will survive like he usually does in fairy tales(well the more modern ones, the older, well, sometimes not).

It great that Harry still meeting with people Harry knew before his nap for 8 years, I wonder what would happen if Harry meet Gabrielle parents. You could expect that Gabrielle parent would be upset and little trouble in how Gabrielle planned the last 8 years, but I never thought that Gabrielle be so upset that he have to take a walk and the mother trying to get her daughter away from Harry. At this part of the story I doubt that Gabrielle parents would ever like Harry but they would get along, there are an lot of cases that a person can't stand their girlfriend or wife parents. But the good new in time Gabrielle parent would understand her actions, and will move on from this.

Mmmph. I like it, but maybe not as much as Hope. Still very good, though, like your other fanfictions.

Great chapter. I continue to enjoy your fine story. I have often thought that the portrayal of the wizzarding world was totally illogical until I figured out that it was a satire on power and those who have it. Thanks for writing. W.
