Fun! I've seen a bit of Naruto anime but never read any fanfic - don't know why bit it didn't appeal. Still, I decided to give this one a try and I'm glad I did. Though... it is just me, or are we seeing echos of Harry from This Means War in here? (To be fair, you *did* acknowledge that you like to write your leading man like that, and I like reading it, so I suppose it's moot.)

HOLY OOC MADNESS BATMAN!!!

Being completely serious here, this story is just a little too much out of characteriness. Naruto suddenly maturing like that (it takes time, even if he does have a massive epiphany) and everyone else catering to his desires just... well I can't say it doesn't happen in the Narutoverse but it only happens in stories that crash and burn.
I really enjoy your Harry Potter OOC stories, but the differences from cannon to your story are enormous.
