Marriage Contract fics are so three years ago and so over done. Thank you for avoiding that cliche =)

Thank you also for placing your talents above writing smut.

The story could be improved with a little more introduction at the beginning of the fic. Something about Harry's thoughts on the crowded house for yadayada reason woudl be nice. A bit of "little did he know" would also bring the first page up to par with the rest of your work.

Overall? Fabulous. The first fic that I've really been persuaded on a Fleur/Harry pairing. You have a remarkable talent for taking what I consider unlikely pairs, creating outstanding plots, and polishing your writing. Wonderful!

Well, I had to read through this one twice to process it. :)

I have to say, Tim, that while a short piece, it's probably one of your best ever.

It didn't have me laughing out loud or sobbing, as some of your other fics have, but I just got a whole different feeling from all of the characters - it wasn't what I expected from either the description OR a "Tim fic".

I just really feel that you stepped out of your box and gave us slightly grittier characters...and it worked really, really well. (Doesn't mean I don't still adore the usual "Tim Fic"!)

This was wonderful. Thank you.

I remember a fic answering that challenge. Didn't see any mention of a marriage contract, but Fleur swore a magical oath to Harry; that until the hour she exchanged vows with Bill, she would be Harry's. Meanwhile, the stripper that got hired was an assassin paid by Narcissa to kill the guests, which she did.

Anyway, great fic (as always).

Thank you so much for a great story. I'd only wish that JKR had half the creativity that you have shown in your last three or four stories. It's like she ran out of ideas at the end of OOTP.

This is a great continuation of HBP in that while there is heartbreak and pain in the story, there is still hope and promise for the future. I'm dreading to see how much DH will fail to life up to the first five books.

I'm looking forward to "The Greatest Trick" and "Happily Ever After" as well any other HP stories that you write. The reason for this is that you've become my favorite source for excellent HP fiction.

Thanks again.

I really liked this story. And even if I doubt you are planning to write a sequel I have to say there is a lot of potential for one. Then again, all your stories leave me wanting more. I thought I would comment on things I liked in the story.

I liked the story's plot. I especially liked the added twist that Fleur was not drunk.

I liked the way you portrayed the character of Fleur. HBP sort of rubbed me the wrong way with her depiction and I liked yours a lot better.

I liked Hermione's and Harry's close sibling like relationship.

I like that the end hints of a possible future relationship between harry and fleur was formed by friendship.

While I was reading this, my mind jumped ahead and through the highlights of various potential outcomes as the whole post shag-athon scene carried out. I was waiting for a long while for Fleur, through a combination of drink and/or sex to extract all kinds of various information from Harry including the prophesy and status of the horcrux hunt. Fast forward to a scene with here paying off some hookers, another scene with her tipping off Voldemort and the Death Eaters (sounds like the name of a bad heavy metal band), and have the whole thing end with a post-wedding brutal ambush and a quirky twist where Fleur ends up the sole inheritor of the Black-Potter estate because everyone having been killed in the aftermath of Fleur's intelligence gathering. The poor sobbing widow and the newest Weasley would surely be who Harry would have left everything to assuming the others had been brutally murdered. End it all with a very wealthy and powerful quarter Veela whom Voldemort owes a very large favor. Or, maybe snake-face ends up as here boy toy/love slave.

My devil horns not withstanding, I really liked your story and I think everything played out in a very real fashion and all your characterizations seemed right on the money. I knew things were going to go downhill as soon as you started commenting on the Weasley's spending habits. Also, I like that Harry didn't shake Fleur too easily.

As always, thanks for writing. I enjoy the fruits of your labor and I thank you for it.

Another excellent job...possibly your best yet. This shows an enormous emotional depth to the characters that we only rarely see in canon and even less so elsewhere. In many ways I wish that you would be able to continue this story as it truly has the potential to surpass your White Knight story as your best piece of combined character development and plot potential.
I understand well why this won't happen and certainly look forward to your forthcoming Harry/Gabrielle piece as well as the Harry/Lavender story that will follow it....or, at least will hopefully follow it depending on how book 7 hits you and many others as well.
Thanks again for an incredibly well done effort.

Now that was an interesting read and I'm really disappointed with Bill and the other male Weaseley offspring; for that matter, this reader is rather disappointed with Ginny, too, and figures that she's -definitely- not mature enough to be bonded to Harry. I will admit that a romantic part in me hopes that Bill & Fleur will eventually make up, but htat's going to take a long, long time and a couple tons of effort on Bill's part.

I did like the way Harry ends up with a different set of companions for his quest to permanently defeat Tom, I suspect that Fleur will be a far more solid support than Ron would've been. That last little was intiguing in what it appeared to promise, Fleur/Hermione or Fleur/Harry/Hermione.

I think a big part of the difference in Bill's and Harry's reactions to what happened at that party is simply that Harry's been in several extreme situations and learned from them, even if just in reflection afterwards, that keeping your head, no matter what, is the most powerful survival tool in his possession. Methinks Bill has now learned this in a most hard and difficult school.

That was a brilliant character study, and a damn fine read all in one.
I really enjoyed that, given that I usually have no liking for Harry/Fleur or Harry/Gabrielle.
Well done!

Loved this story! I especially liked the rather underhanded way that Fleur tested and then proved that alcohol alone is not an excuse to inappropriate behavior.

I love the way you write and look forward to reading more of your stories.
