Great finish to a great story Tim. I'm personally a H/G shipper myself and don't really take to many other combinations but this one really worked well.

Just have one gripe about the story though... What's the deal with having the relationship between Pansy and Ginny the way you did? I'll admitt that when I re-read those sections of the story I tend to skip over them (ie: the parts with Ginny and Pansy saying they "love" each other and other similar situations).

Personally I would have just left the story as Ginny being a good friend of them rather than being a second "mate" as your story suggests. Just something about that doesn't sit as well with me.

At any rate, aside from that one little issue of mine... great job on this and I can't wait for you to finish TMW (just please don't have Harry end up with two women in that one). ;-)

I normally don't read m/f pairings but I found this while looking for rare pairings and was hooked. This is one of the few well written hetero stories I've read. I loved the fact that you used Pansy rather than the generic pairings.The concept, the plot just everything was great it was an enjoying read. I have one pet peeve, I don't know where you are going to go with the little stories after this but I hope you don't go the route of adding Ginny to the equation, since it's kind of hinted. I have nothing against her but it seems that most rare pairings seem to add Ginny to the relationship. I think the relationship you built between Harry and Pansy is great enough to stand on its own. I hope you might do another Harry/Pansy story because this one has me hooked on this pairing. Once again great job.

i've never hated a scrollbar more than i have today when i read your last installment of WKGQ.

i mean, i hate scrollbars all the time when i'm reading any of your stories, but knowing that this was the last chapter to my personal favorite story of all time...i grew sadder and sadder (paradoxically while getting more excited by the conclusion) while the scroll bar inched it way downwards signalling the end of a literary epic.

thank you for this story. thanks to your friend for issuing a challenge. thanks to your sense of authorship when you found you couldn't contain this story in ten pages.

thanks for making hp characters that i found utterly enthralling and believable. you balanced ingenuity and believability - and i think this story might have the first characterization of a redeemed "bastard Ron" that i found enjoyable and likable.

i can't believe you took such a challenging concept, made it readable, reasonable, and addicting, and then completed the larger plotline in a not-hurried, manageable, and totally endearing way.

Great story! I was surprised when you wound it all up with one gigantic chapter. I bet Kokopelli and the other beta staff were going nuts getting this thing to help you wrap it all up all in one chapter.
As you said, there are lots of story bits left hanging. Lots of leftovers. Now you can steal any ideas on trios from UDDERPD. I think some have acknowledged him as the master of the fluffy-trio endings. Either way he covers it pretty well.

bravo. Never too over-the-top to be silly, and a number of complex but well-written subplot tied together as with the brushstrokes of a master.
