I liked it. It was different, simple and it got through differently. Nice!

oh god. i think that is honestly the first time a fanfic has ever made me cry. that's...oh god that's so sad. i was going to hate you for making dumbledore so terrible, but the abyss comment at the end explained it so well and...gosh, i can't stop crying darn you!!!

Well, I feel like I just got punched in the stomach by Mike Tyson.
Good work.

Okay, now when exactly did you update/enhance this story? The additions caught me totally by surprise. I'm pretty sure that somewhere here I have a printout of the original version of 'The Abyss', without the first-person introspection from both Harry and Ginny. Am I crazy, is my memory fading in my old age, or was there indeed an earlier version before this one?
Excellent little story ... and so bloody sad. Well, it *used* to be ... but now there's that lovely little coda where they meet up again in heaven. That really *is* very nice, you know ... "it feels warm, like one of Harry's hugs", his understanding that her betrayal wasn't her fault, and ... I don't quite know why, but that "purr against him" made me stop for a second when I was reading, those few words really work for me. Damn you're getting good at this sort of stuff.
The tale from Ginny's perspective is *really* effective, a real sense of the poor girl completely confounded/befuddled. Presenting the Imperius spell - or however Dumbledore is controlling her - this way, as a mix of colours that pull her attention away, distracting her, works very well. Poor little Ginny.
Wonderful little story; heartrending. Thank you!

Just got round to reading this and so far I amust say I have not found one that is poorly written. This like all your others is well done - just amazing. I think it is safe to say you can still write angst :).
By the way any idea when new chapters for Hope and TMW will be available? ;)

I read this more than once-it was so good. Each time I read it, it made me cry so much in the middle. This was heart-wrenching and beautiful.

Yes, you know how to write short angst. And I don't know about the other few thousand readers, but it bloody terrified me. No jokes this time.

I Loved this, it's sad, yet happy at the same time. I knew Ginny wouldn't really leave him! Now he gets to be with his parents!

Woah. This story was just...wow. It was so deep and moving.
Coincidentally, I was listening to System of a Down's Chop Suey at the same time I was reading this, and I just about fell apart.
