This is truly a great story. You are managing to twist a number of cliches on their head and making the story fun and entertaining. Do wonder how much training time he had with the other teams before Sasuke got out of his padded room? Really enjoy the interest he is showing in the older kunoichi and their return interest, though I can kind of see the point Anko made in this chapter about being able to live with some of the quirks that ninja develop.

Part of maturity is experience, and Naruto, through massive over-use of clones, is certainly getting that.

Freaking awesome chapter. "3? Oh right, I lied earlier." That was just classic and awesome. I'm absolutely enjoying this story, and haven't found many if any mistakes, not that I would point them out if I did :). Keep up the fantastic work!

Don't mind that this has no real direction. Can't remember how many stories I've read that had direction and got abandoned because the author could no longer keep it at that direction. I can honestly say that stories like this one are a good change of pace to the serious do this do that drama drama action of other stories. Sometimes I look at those stories and want to ask "Why so SERIOUS?!" in other words I highly approve of this fic!

Oh, I love the idea of a ninja owning a pirate ship.

The line about helping the local shark economy was great as well.

I've seen ninjas play at being civilians before to try and sneak around, but never in a situationn like this, your idea of him playing a son to the client was completely original, unqie, and fun to read.

Cant wait to see more.

Great chapter. Great end to Gato. I am impressed with the lessons that Naruto is being taught to grow up. It almost seems to be info that should be in class.
