A very awesome update. Your rendition of Lee was totally in synch with how JKR portrayed him. The ending while tense was priceless when Gabby made Draco run into the tree.

Heh. I like how she used the Potter Turn as well. Don't think that was something she actually learned from Harry. Did she do that all on her own, or did she pull a little bit of ability from Harry at that moment?

Hmmm... McGonagall is worried about Dumbledore possibly contracting Dementia, but she's not able to find anything. Combine that with Dumbledore using his pensieve so much it actually borders on obsessive compulsive behaviour...
Coincidence? I think not.
Any bets on Dumbles hiding his condition by using the pensieve? Anyone? Anyone at all?

Malfoy deserved that... Dumbledore is definitely in need of psychiatric care if he really thinks that Hogwarts random staff team can beat the best Gryffindor squad of the last century. Its sad really.

Another wonderful chapter, I am enjoying the fact that Hogwarts (Dumbledore) appears to be disliked by the other two schools. As for Draco, he got everything he deserves, next time send him into the lake rather than a tree.

Malfoy knocking himself out by running into a tree, deliberately no less... this is new. Sent me into hysterics, too :D
I like the way you constantly add new things to the story, like Dumbledore's Pensieve-addiction, making it richer and more elaborate.
I still found a couple of spelling errors that your beta team probably missed. In the middle of the chapter, you said 'Night Bus' where you obviously meant the Knight Bus from PoA. And at the beginning of the chapter in Gabrielle's reflections it says "If it was possible a good idea, why not do it?" This sentence has to be reworked to be grammatically correct.
Once again, you did a great job on this chapter. The staff meeting was fun to read and I'm looking forward to the professors' Quidditch matches. Bringing back Lee as commentator is a nice touch, not to mention hilarious!

That was fantastic - "go play in traffic, kid", Magic style! I loved Harry thumbing his nose at Snape and Dumbledore, and thank you for keeping Minerva on the side of all that's good and decent. Love Gabby's protectiveness of Harry, and his of her, and her clever and resourceful use of her Veela skills to rearrange the Ferret's facial features. Yes, I'm still giggling about that. Very much looking forward to the "faculty/staff" Quidditch match, to Harry's comeuppance/revenge on Snape and Malfoy (and Dumbledore) and generally everything else about this story! As usual, Tim, it's amazing, engrossing, beautifully constructed and worth every minute of the waits between chapters. Cheering, Michelle

absolutely enthralling... and what a wicked way to end it all! This story continues to amaze me as we get deeper and deeper into the plot. Now all we need is some Snape humiliation, the final come-uppance for Dumbles and a stunning climax for Gabby & Harry <eg>. The wait is agonizing, but oh so worth it. Thanks Tim!

Ohh :D Bad news for Malfoy :D The match was really good, and I liked the political side of the reasoning for Durmstrang's location.
Ron is funny, good job at writing him. Only thing is, I think yours is more canon-ish than Jo's... :(
What have you got in store for Snape? Or will we have to wait for the faculty match to find out? :D if he ends up splattered I'm all for it :D
I don't like the vengeful Hagrid, but if it fit the story it workd for me :D
As usual, a briliant chapter :)
