It's good to see Hermione, and especially Ron's reaction to 'that leetle side effect'. I hope Harry learns that they were not fully in the know.

And of course a little Draco-bashing is reputed to be highly therapeutic!

Harry's test was well thought out, as well as highly effective.

The twist with Oliver at the end was nice!

Another good one!

"Not anymore," he said. "I had to know if you were serious about wanting me or not. I’m not sorry for putting you through that, because now I know that you are. You’re not exactly -replusive-, Gabrielle, and I do like you. Don’t think I’m over everything that has happened. I’m not, definitely not. All I’m saying is that, well, let’s see what happens between us. We can continue as we have been since we met, and see what develops."

Just to correct this mistake it should be repulsive. No slur against the betas as otherwise they have done a good job all around.

Hope to more of Hope soon ;)

In this chapter I like how Ron is portraided as Harry's right hand man because that is who he is. Hermoine bad. haha. I also like how Gabrielle is totally and utterly devoted to Harry. I loved it when Harry bet the crap outta Malfoy and ignored the manipulative old man and pissed off Snape. How Harry tested Gabrielle's loyalty and love to him. Her reaction just proves how devoted she is to him. His entrance to Beaubaxtons was perfect. The nickname "Gabby" is nice...basically a pet name. Damn sneaky Dumbledore. Go Gryffindor.

Gabrielle did well to refuse him. A lot of girls wouldn’t have. The whole Quidditch thing is thrilling. I love it.

Love this so far. Since its 10:30 at night, I'm gonna read the rest tomorrow. Like it lots so far. Usually, I'm really iffy on the Harry/Gabriel fics, but I thank you for not putting Ginny in it muc as I am an avid Harry/Ginny fan. What about Moony though? Did Arthur and Molly die or something? You never put them in... Also, do Ron and Hermione have kids? You'd think with that curse that they would.

Okay, so first off I have to say that so far I absolutely this story. I've never read a Harry/Gabrielle story before, but it has pretty much hooked me to this ship. Though, because you're such an amazing writer to begin with, I probably should not have even worried about it not being good...but anyway--Second, I'm holding you entirely responsible for my being awake a 1:30 in the morning without any sign of my being remotely interested in going to bed, when I have class in the morning. You're just too good of writer, and can keep your readers interested in the story too well.
So, on account of the fact that tomorrow I'm going to be completely exhausted in my classes, if perchance one of my professors asks me why I'm so tired, I'm directing them to your website and placing all of the blame on you.

But, anyway, enough of my rant. Great story, keep it up!

OOOOO I like it! MUSH more challenging w/ Krum helping Durmstrang. And I shudder to think of Malfoy corrupting my very own Gryffs *sniffles* It was SOO funny to have "Ollie" practically BEGGING Harry instead of the other way around-- HAHA!! LOVE THIS!!!

the only thing i dont really like about this story is the way you presented dumbledore...

while it is a necessity for the way the story is developing, (and i do understand that this was started before HBP), im always gonna be prejudiced towards the HBP-canon dumbledore.

aside from that, this is really looking to turn out great.

:D

Damn good chapter J! I liked the discussion between ron hermione and Jean. That was very well done. Also harry's temptation test of gabby was brilliant and well played. Amusing job on the smack down of draco and snape.... very good. Then brining the others into help train the team is damn cool! Cheers!

Now I am confused.

Aimee said this: "It has been most difficult for me, a human witch, to raise two Veela daughters."

That would indicate that she is not a (half)Veela, as I find it hard to belive that she would call her daughters as Veelas but call herself a human.

"Even approaching fifty, Madame Delacour had a figure that most twenty year olds would have killed for and a face that treated the prospect of aging with the disdain it deserved."

But this obviously says that she is indeed a Veela. Besides if she wouldn't be a Veela, then Jean would have to be a male Veela. That is, unless Gabrielle and Fleur aren't truly her children.

So, how is it?

And now that I have started to ask random questions, I might as well continue: What does "Alors" mean? Are going to name every chapter after some place? And most importantly, are you going to call Draco a man with delusions of grandeur he can never live up to? I think that you have used that phrase in most of your fanfics...

Anyway... Good chapter.

Very interesting story. I was looking for a decent Harry/Gabrielle fic and this by far tops all others. I read the first two chapters a few months ago and i must admit, the next two sequels proved to be very satisfactory to my taste. I hope you update soon. :)

On the story:
I like the way how you portray Gabrielle.
Very interesting independent, angsty Harry!(something common among your fics, not that i'm complaining)
Humorous and Beautifully written.
New insight into Ron's character. I usually think of him as the malfoy in gryffindor, somewhat like a racist and a selfish git.

Another wonderful piece. Harry is developing into another very interesting possibile personality. He's a strong, independant character with the main fault of independece. He has isolated himself from everyone around him, closing himself off.
He 's now being forced out of that by everyone around him, who are trying to pull him out, arranging him with Gabrielle for their mutual happieness.

This story is very, very cool!!!!!! :) Harry finally has independance and I love it how you made him caring yet powerful. Having a quidditch competition between the schools is genious. I really want to see Harry and Gabrielle get closer. It would be awesome if when Harry's team goes to hogwarts they win and Draco gets puched out by Harry again!!! lol, I can't wait till you update this one and TMW, They are both my fav's and are wriiten really cleverly. Keep up the good work :*D

Thanks so much for updating so soon. I am really enjoying this story. I thought it was great the way Harry showed his anger but didn't hurt anything but the orchard and the wards. A stroke of genius.
I am looking forward to you next update. I am also looking forward to the next update of TMW. I have enjoyed that story since I started reading it and I would like to see it completed.
One thing I would like you to know though is that I would rather wait for a good update on a story than have it updated every week like clockwork and have the work suffer with a rushed, incomplete or unsatisfying addition to the story. I know you are busy but just know you have a fan that really appreciates the "quality" of your work.

Thanks, Patches

very very cool, really enjoyed this chapter, especially Harry reinforcing to everyone that he is not a rug to be walked all over, that he did defeat voldemort, contrary to popular belief and that he does not like Draco Malfoy, Severus Snape or Albus Dumbledore by any stretch of the imagination. I really can't wait to see the frenchies wipe the floor with their newly trained quidditch players. keep up the great work, really looking forward to your next chapter
Cheers
