Ahhh, thank you thank you thank you. A wonderful, epic story has come to its end (though I look forward to the epilogue), and I feel wonderfully content. It does this heart good to see Harry happy, with incredible control over his magic, and in a relationship that does him good.

Fantastic, loved every bit of it - and the part towards the end, where Hermione was lost to the world while reading Merlin's diary, was just like a description of me, while reading Hope... (and other great stories)

And yes, hope is an incredible force, thank you for reminding us all in such a wonderful way.

Cheers!

Berte

Sad to see it ended. On the bright side, it means you have room for, well, moooooooore. :)

Well, as always I've enjoyed myself immensely. I can't think of a single story you have written that I didn't like. (Though I have enjoyed some more than others) This was a fun ride, had great action sequences, a bit of angst, lots of laughs and enough romance in the right proportions to be classified as one of your best. Thank you for taking the time to keep writing for us Tim. We do really appreciate it.

Simply great I have already printed all the story and intend on having it prepared to be in hardcover to be shelved in my nightstand along all my favorites.I must say that this together with White Knight Grey Queen are two of the best fics I ever read. Thanks for the great work. I don't think I ever told any authors but you fanfic authors are even better than the regular authors because you write your stories without any pay and do it from the heart. Thanks again, and I hope you will be signed up by a big publishing company so that I can buy one of your books on the regular market.

One of the most elegant pieces of fiction that i have read in 40 yrs. Taken as a whole some very high class writing, healthy philosophy, great moral stance.

thanks so much for sharing this with us, particularly after the technical difficulties you experienced.

warmest regards

I loved how you got Malfoy and Snape in the end well done.

Thanks for sharing your wonderful view of a fairytaleHarry. It's so nice to see a story of where Harry is able to find happiness. People grap to much for angst out there. An epilogue will be a nice present from your part.

Jeconais
Congratulations on finishing this story! It was absolutely fantastic!!!
On an odd personal note, I have been writing my doctoral dissertation for the past three years and was supposed to finish last summer. I couldn't and to console myself I was reading HOPE. In one of those odd superstitious beliefs that apparently all doctoral students develop, I convinced myself that I would not be able to finish until HOPE was finished. Well here you are and I turned it in last week. :)
I look forward to the epilogue.

And here we are, virtually at the end of Hope. There's just a small epilogue to be posted in a couple of days time.

Well DAMN that ending caught me by surprise. I'd have never guessed about those potions that Snape was feeding him.Are you going to mention what happens to Snape and Dumbles in the epilogue?

Not sure what to say about this besides the obvious: This was perhaps the greatest HP Fanfic ever, an incredible story, the definitive Harry/Gabrielle fic, and the story which has entrenched you as one of the greatest authors around, professional or not.

Congratulations on finishing a Magnum Opus. Take great pride in your work, as you deserve it.

Fantastic story. It was perfect how Dumbledore, Snape, and especially Malfoy get what was coming to them. I really can not wait for the epilogue. I can say that I never thought a Harry/Gabrielle pairing would work but you pulled it off perfectly. Thank you for such a wonderfully story.

WOW! Great job . . you have this wonderful ability to mask the obvious and make me feel pretty shortsighted when it finally comes out . . Snape and the potions, DD & the compulsion, wrapping it all up with the lake again! Brillant! (although I did see Harry hiring Aimee coming - do I get any credit for that?) The quiddich was awesome, especially the pre-match training.
FULL MARKS!
