Really great. But ... Harmony staked Angel!?? OMG. I laughed so hard. Great work. Really do like them getting the Harley.

That was quite the fun read and a good wrap up. I find I don't mind that Angel got dusted "by accident" (blue on blue does happen, though it proves the line from Murphy's Laws of War that "Friendly fire isn't."). That was a nicely done battle scene with proper prep and planning and it went as planned, nicely done all around.

Just a quick review-type thing to say that I enjoyed this VERY much. It was different, to my mind at least, than a lot of "Xan get dissed and then shows everyone how wrong they were" fics that get written.
Don't get me wrong, I like those too, but I like seeing a new take every now and again too.

I'm not really knowledable on the Buffy universe but I have really enjoyed this story. I think it would also be enjoyable to read whatever omake's you create for this storyline. Thanks for posting this; can't wait to see what you post next.

Good ending. I like the fact that Xander didn't make up with Buffy, as that fits them and I like the way Harmony has changed and the fact that she staked Angel. We all know he'll be brought back again (damn PTBs!) but the three of them will always remember what happened.
And imagine Harmony visiting Cordelia in L.A. and running into him... with her staking him all over again!

This story is outside of the 'usual', and I'm mighty fine with that. Using the 'usual suspects' and taking them for a new spin was very refreshing. Doing this with more depth than most (both, in the characters and the plot), made this work much more than just 'outstanding'. Thank you very much for sharing this with us.

Probably the most intelligent graduation ceremony that I've read, well done.

I loved it :) Great Xander and Faith story. I liked how they grew up, how they build their relationship and how they were no longer broken. the conversations about their relationship were well done. It had a lot of real emotions.
The organisation of the defences at graduation was great too :) I like your idea of using water pistols and sprinklers!
The pool bapthism was a nice touch.
Angel being staked by harmony was LOL!

Oh yes, it's been fun. As someone who's followed your works for a long time, the continual development is obvious. Like a painter who achieves photo realism, and moves on towards the more abstract you have dropped the rather wordy descriptions that showed us exactly the idea you had for a slightly sparser storytelling that still conveys your angles, your characters, the moods. It's also quite evident in your writing that you've been around the block once or twice. "Happily ever after" does change its meaning after a couple of decades, doesn't it? (Which of course also means you just have to write that sequel now, doesn't it?)
The amazing dichotomy that is/was the Mayor was magnificiently portrayed, and the number of times where Faith marked her territory was amusing. Especially the "wrinkled fingers" thing. She would of course have said something similar anyway, but the audience ensured that she drove the point home, as it were.
You didn't do a lot with Buffy, but with the one line you gave her, you managed to sum her up just fine. The demise of Angel taught me that the netspeak phrase ROTFL isn't always hyperbolic. I could just see it and it was hilarious.
Thanks. When you update, I'll be there as soon as i have a proper screen. Unless it's Naruto because i never got Naruto.

I really loved this story!
As much fun as the usual power fantasy stories can be, and as much as I don't mind a little bashing, as long as the story is well written, I enjoyed the way you went with this even more. I think you managed to find a pretty perfect middle ground between fully grown up and (knowingly) immature that's both realistic for people in Xander and Faith's situation, and that fit the both of them really well, turning them into the kind of slight variation of their canon-selves that I could easily believe in, and that I really enjoyed reading about.
And I can't end this without also mentioning how impressed I am by the way you managed to turn Harmony into a likeable person without drastically changing her personality from the show.
So thank you yet again for writing a wonderful story and sharing it with us, and if your second comment (and the second to last) in the author notes means it won't be too long until we get more of your writing, then so much the better!

Reading this story has been a joy and a pleasure. As you said no bashing, just people growing up and into themselves. Thank you for sharing

Amazing story. I usually don't touch the Buffy stories just cause it always was really hard to find a good one that that didn't seem to be written by a 13 year old girl. Since I have loved all of the Harry Potter and Naruto stories you have written I of course had to give this one a shot and I can absolutely say you didn't disappoint at all. I loved the characterization and the whole broken people fixing each other was great I think. I very much understand why your divorce has influenced your writing but I actually like that since I ended up going through a divorce myself not too long ago, and your perspective on stuff like the bed scene was phenomenal. Thanks again for making another great story and I can't wait to read your next update.

And also, the fact that Harmony staked Angel, and the way it happened made me laugh out loud. Thanks again!
