I have read this story at least 15 times over the past 2 years. I have absolutely loved it. Between this and Harry Potter: Geth by mjimeyg I can't decide which is my absolute favorite story.

A really fun read - loved Derek probably far too well!

Nice to see "alternative" magical arts brought into play - enchanting, alchemy and so on - and to see the homages to Skyrim :)

I just finished rereading this story. I probably have read it 3 or 4 times since you first published it. I loved it. What I liked about it was it was so different. Harry's apiration is to become a blacksmith/enchanter? Not to many stories out there depicting that. Head Auror, Minister of Magic, Chief Warlock, Master of Death stories, you'll find by the score. But instead of it being an aspiration that's beneath his potential/abilities, it was one which brought out his strengths and talents in a big way. It was a great job, and I definitely enjoyed reading this one. Maybe the people who told you they didn't like it sidn't like it being so different. Anyway, thanks for sharing your writing with us!

Third time if reading and I still love this story. Something of the Engineer in me kinda found the the idea of hitting gits like death eaters with a sword or a warhammer far more realistic than a Harry becoming a ninja-wizard overnight. Brilliant story!

I've read this more than once, and enjoyed it each time. It has the essential Jeconais tone and tenor, but is also a startlingly effective HP/Zoolander crossover. I like this Harry, who is mature enough to know he's not mature enough to set his whole life in place at 14. There's a certain amount of physical absurdity here, but that seems perfectly reasonable in the context of a Zoolander crossover. I can see why some of the usual suspects might not care for it, but this is a pretty crafty bit of work. Well done.

Your characterization of Daphne was extremely unique. I had never read a fanfic that interpreted her this way until this one. I really liked it, in fact, I think that this is my favorite take on Daphne. Very well done!!! :)
