Loved the story, in fact I love pretty much all of your stories. I can't wait for the next chapter to see Harry take on the Aurors. Just one little mistake in the masterpiece that I noticed was that you change either Fred or George's wife as you started off with them being late for Penelope and Katie but then had Sammy say they were married to Penelope and Alicia.

Out-freaking-standing!

It is amazing how much, and how well, you flesh out a story. Most authors would not have thought to bring in a character like Sammy, as they would be too caught up in the romance or moving the story along, but the scenes with her added a great many dimensions to Harry's character. Add in the interaction with Kingsley, I really like what you've done with him, and Harry stands out in stark contrast from the other 'Harry Potter' you talk about.

Your other characters also make this a real treat. Hermione works well, and Sumi fits in nicely. Molly is even human. Percy was rather one-dimensional, and that's okay.

All of this does come at a cost, though. We have little idea about the type of character Ginny has grown into in this world, as she has precious little dialog.

There is a great deal to look forward to, especially some of the DA students showing up soon, which leads me to a question. Assuming Alone was mark 'Complete' in error, how long do you expect the story to be?

Excellent...I love the portrayl of Harry as two different people, both 'Harry Potter' and 'Uncle Harry.' I eagerly await the 'battle' between Harry and the auror corps, though I suspect it won't be much of one, if the auror's are as lazy as portrayed...

One of the things that makes this story tiresome is that it is poorly conceived and has no interest value aside from the fact that you seem to be writing this and the other as an escape from finishing WKGQ for a while. The great girlfriend hand off seems to be the case in point within cannon Ron/Herminone, Percy was with Penelope and Bill was with Fluer. The only purpose there seems to be for these choices is not even worth mentioning. I would have thought that with your high standard that you have set with your other stories that you would have rethought this story line and save the rest of us suffering through your discardings. I like your stories very much but think that this is not worth the minute thought process that birthed it.

I liked it when Sammy says, "Uncles Fred and George have Aunts Alicia and Penelope." Even a seven year old knows to group them together like that...

Well, I actually liked "All Night Long"--but the direction that you're going in here is wonderful! (Obviously, I know you'll surprise me, but I have some... guesses. :grins:)

I particularly loved the exchange with Sammy. As a long-time uncle and current father of a seven-year-old girl, I know what sources of amazement, shock and awe a girl that age can be.

Have a great move--an oxymoron, I know, but a sincere wish, nonetheless.

Liked the family moments. Liked the couple moments. Liked the way you handled the Draco/Cho thing. Loved Sammy she reminds me of the way one of my cousins was at that age. Not really liking Ginny's attitude. Is there any chane of him hooking up with some one else? A promising start to what is sure to a great story!
