Damn, you really don't like Dumbledore, do you?

And neither do I! Kudos. :)

A piece that makes you think really... I can't really decide whether to be sorry for Ron, Hermione and Ginny or to blame them. They stepped out on Harry when he needed them, but... their only fault was growing up more slowly than Harry did. They were only seventeen(ish) when everything was going down. Can they really be blamed?

Regardless, as this piece is causing me moral issues, it's obviously a nice piece of work. I like the character interaction and you honestly didn't change much from the real storyline. Basically, you just had Harry grow up a little faster than the rest. As much as I hate seeing Harry and Ginny's relationship go down in flames, I honestly think the same should have happened in the series. It would have been glorious to watch Ginny clock Harry and tell him he was being an idiot.

Anyway, tremendous work from all involved. I suppose it's expected for the ending to be ragged since it was written the way it was, but I can't help but like it. It's obvious it was all going to end quite well, but it would have been nice to see Dumbledore forcibly ripped from his high horse. I've noticed that you don't seem to like him much on the whole...

Later,
Rex

Haha, clearly a method of dealing with Death Eaters that the Order should have explored.

Ouch.. what a bad way to go. Harry and Daphne sure are quite a devious couple.

Seriously...I can't imagine Ron Weasley having any attractive traits......and he goes after smart girls...girls who should damned well know better than to deal with him in the first place.

Thanks for writing,
Matt

Hello Jeconais.

Just wondering, how exactly is it betraying Harry by convincing him not to go horcrux hunting when all the horcruxes were already pinned down, hunted, caught, gathered and destroyed?

What there to trust Harry when he wans to go on a quest leading no where, to go combat the wind-mills?

And what exactly did Dumbledore wanted, r needed, Harry's friends to help him with? Seems to me they didn't really have anything to do!

Is this the end? I hope not.

I've been rereading this in the chronological order, and wonder if you're going somewhere with this? Is this a foreshadowing of future events? Or just showing us that Dumbledore hasn't changed, and he's going to try to manipulate the world from the background again.

Either way, I love these stories. Thanks for writing them.

Hey, I just love this story line and I hope that you will have some more to add to it or just start a new story to go along with this. I truely believe that your writting is the best I've read with all of the fanfiction that I've read in the past 3yrs. Thanks for sharing it with the rest of us.

Haha I love the Weasley twins and how you portray them here.

Too bad JKR killed them by simply just killing one of them in canon...ah well what does she really know?

Thanks for writing,
Matt

You know, this is a really good sequence of stories. The only thing I would want is the "Epilogue". What happens to them all.

I don't understand how this fic is completed. It seems like you just stopped working at a certain time. I mean what abotu the Wizengamot meeting. What will happen to the wizarding world? It just seems that after reading the story in both standard Fanfic order and the pulp fiction style that it's an odd place to stop. Especially when you read the story in chronological order.

This was one of the most hilarious pieces I've ever read, from any genre or author. You truly captured the Weasley twins in all their off-color glory. Huzzah to you, sir! I'd like to point out as an additional note that I love both this series of stories and its prequel. Good bloody work. Why can't we have more authors like you floating around to satisfy my fanfiction needs?

Aberbadger posted a comment on Saturday 4th August 2007 4:43am

Ah... just realised that it might be a different author. Sorry. Still, the mistake is a valid one...
