The funny thing is that while I thought I remembered quite a bit of this story - the floor in the hall, the three friends, the whispered conversation - I had managed to completely forget all about the Indiana Jones bits!

You know, come to think about it, i havent really seen any where DUmbledore has come back as a ghost cuz he always spouted off about 'the next great adventure' crap. But I think a lot of people subconsciously thought about it.

I'm glad that you haven't relegated this to the 'Abandoned' section, if it means that there's a chance you'll take it further. As you said who can resist Indiana Jones? I can't say that I've seen an IJ crossover with HP, which would be good, despite the obvious time discrepancies. Something to think about.
If something else strikes you with this, please give it a bit more, it could be a good read, and as I've found all of your work really well written and well thought out I've no doubt this would be up there with the best.
