How coul Lucius Malfoy be a member of the Ministry when he was throw in to Azkaban ( I believe for life) and escaped from it, making Lucius a escaped convict? Being an escaped convict, especially one described as extremely dangerous by the Ministry & press, would disqualify him from working at the Ministry and only an idiot *cough* Fudge *cough* would publicly use and admit to having an extremly dangerous escaped convict as an advisor. I'm just surprised no one mentioned Lucius' extremly dangerous escaped convict status as an argument against Fudge.

Good God, those two managed to come through on a deal with Pinhead?! I pitied them HARD when I realized that they had drawn his attention to them, or I should say, ended up in his tender care. There are few horror movie villains who actually frightened me when I was younger and still managed to give me the chills as an adult and he is one of them.

The rest of the chapter was awesome, especially the End of Dementors bit, along with tying in that killing them off was what was their deal with Pinhead. Just shy of impossible, but can be done and either way, Pinhead wins. It's the kind of thing that fits him.

Never been a fan of horror... So much of the Pinhead stuff goes over my head. The darkness level is certainly ramped up in this part, but we actually get more of a picture of our two protagonists as a result. It was an interesting experience.. ;)

I AM A DUNCE! (LOL) I had just finished reading "Hogwart's Dawn" and I thought to myself "lets see what else this author has written here". I am new to this site, and the afore mentioned story was recommended by another author over on ff.net (with a url directly to chapter 1). So I find your "news" page and found this one. I read it, enjoyed EVERY minute of it, and wanted MORE. Got to the bottom of this page to discover that there is, or will be a "Year 4" (there is!). My heart almost stopped. I hadn't realized that this storyline covers MULTIPLE YEARS - Starting with Year 1, and I absolutely Hate reading a story out of sequence, it literally drives me bonkers. There is NO fault on your end, only on MINE! IF I had looked a little more carefully on that same "news" page, I would have seen mention of Year 4 (slams head on desk - missing keyboard). Sometimes I must pay a little more attention to the details, lol. This is a great story, and I MUST go and read Years 1 and 2 in order to see the FULL picture. Thank You. TTFN

Wow! It took a while. I had to go back and reread from the beginning. This is a really good story. I enjoy the subterfuge. The scary lack of emotion and daring of Harry's friends that follow his directions. The fact that Harry hides his own abilities so that whey they are really needed noone will know what they are. Very Slytherin. I'm glad that satisfied Pinhead's contract. At least they are free of him for now. That doesn't mean it couldn't change sometime in the future. Thank goodness they got rid of Umbridge and Fudge. They deffinitely had to go. I look forward to more of this story when you can. Thanks for writing. pms
