A lovely long chapter!
Taking Umbridge out this early was a bit of a surprise, but lots of fun... I assume that means you're not doing a fifth year rework in this story?
I also really enjoyed the confrontation with Riddle in the Chamber of Secrets; removing the 'secret' part of that scenario has resulted in a satifyingly clean resolution.
I look forward to the next chapter, whenever it should appear,
- A.

If I had direct access to anyone in the after life, I'd probably try and pick the most brilliant minds that ever existed and have them attempt to pass on their knowledge directly.... I.E. Julius Cesar, Aristotle, Freud, the list goes on and on. I don't think you did too bad with year 2. I anxiously await years 3 - 7 tho, so get to writtin'! lol
See you in the funny papers!!

Kewl! I love this story, I just wish there was going to be more to it. I can understand why there isn't, owning to Harry and Wednesday being the people they are. I am curious tho-what (if anything) is Albus doing about Sirius? Or is Sirius dead by now? Id really like to know.

Excellent update. You may not have been happy with year two, but I thought it was exceptional. While the way the Addams family can walk over everyone else is rather unbalancing, their power levels are such that it is to be expected. To give them such power and not unbalance things would be absurd.

To answer your questions here....
What to do? Grill the hell out of them, of course. Discover all there could be about how it is to die. What it is that's scary about death. What you could do to AVOID death. What they knew about Voldemort and death. Pretty much anything you could get out of them regarding Voldemort, for that part of it, and then anything you could get out of them for the bloodlines part of it for Harry to tell Wednesday.
H&W would bow to anyone who's respect was earned. They weren't raised by fools, and they give praise sparingly, so I'd say a bow, even a head-bow, would be acknowledgment of either greatness OR a great change in perspective.
And no. Not totally. But, eh, maybe. Goo! On one hand, I can see him always curious as to what the anti-Potter/Addams would be up to, even if all he's do was to quash and craziness. On the other, I can very much see him taking great joy in watching others fail due to stupidity
And to close this, H&W are smart enough to give Snape the thougths he wants to have, but to keep him on there path no matter what happens. I don't think it really matters what I think, shit's going to play out. I can't wait for the ride!

I would like to say that I thoroughly enjoy reading this story and the year 1 as well. I cannot wait until the next story is up and I really hope it won't be as long a wait!!!
Many thanks and keep on writing.

Outstanding chapter!!!! It may of felt like a rehash of year one to you but I thought it was freaking outstanding!!!! I'm guessing they bow to the ruler of Atlantis or some god or gods they follow???? My guess is a necromancer maybe!!!! You could do all kinds of stuff with a direct line to James and Lily!!!! Does Harry have an animagus form???? I know its been over done by I think if his dad did then why can't he have one???? Do keep up the outstanding work and update soon please!!!!:):):):)

This is what I imagine when I think of Wednesday Friday Addams and Morticia A. Addams. I can't think of any living person an Addams would bow to, so I'm guessing that he is either dead or from a different show.

I like the blender idea better }:}
Great chapter, even if it wasn't quite what you were planning for it to be, you successfully got them through another year and did manage to teach a few people along the way, including Severus. (there's no hope for Dumbles, but I'm sure you know that.)
Thanks for the update! TLC

Very entertaining. Especially with Pugsley and his 'zombie' routine.
Looking forward to the next installment!!

Snapes getting quite good at lurking on corners. And its all ways useful to have some one around to had out points after the action.
He could use some lessons or advice tho. Maybe cousin IT could stop by and offer some professional tips.
What? Didn't you know one of his jobs is as a spy.

I guess I'll have to wait to find out who H/W would bow to. My first thought is Merlin for having independent thought and getting himself kicked out of Atlantis before it sunk, but Merlin is probably too obvious and therefore wrong. No one else immediately springs to mind ... although Wends did mention Prometheus ... hmm.
I continue to really like what you're doing with this story, even if you're not overly happy with this year. The deal with the CoS felt a little rushed (but not too bad), but I can see why you did it that way.
It was fun seeing Ginny's "pink prank" on Snape, and Hermy getting high praise from Harry.
The deal with Ron getting turned into a mouse and George saying:
"It’s that time of the month," he explained. "You know how wizards can get."
was truly inspired. :) Ron continued to be to the comic relief, as he should be.
So now the big divergance. Hopefully it won't take 8 months to get here, but hey, it's all for free so I'll take what I can get. ;)
Thanks for sharing!

I liked year two. I liked how you showed the Wednesday and Harry as human kids not people who were untouchable and uncaring. I wonder if Snape would ever be invited to the Adam's residence?

Wonderful! You did a great job with Year 2, and think the story is getting better as you go along. Side plots are gaining in complexity and characters are constantly evolving. I cannot wait to see where you take this next. Thank you for continuing to write.

The battle with the basalisk went well. Snape's Christmas present was good. Pugsley as diplomat strikes me as a little odd but somebody needs to do it. I think it is a good chapter. Thanks for writing. W.

If you base it off of the Movies, both Gomez and Fester bow during the Mamushka, and in a formal dance, all Addams seem to bow to their partner.
So they bow to one man. Pugsly, their brother. Else, they bow to each other, as partners. And not the low bow of a servant but the formal head tilt or to a brother, body bow.
But that's just my thoughts on yao- uh the movieverse.
As to the Afterlife? Harry knows his parents were human. He has talked with them, laughed with them, maybe Lily, and even a James that has grown up; Tell Harry about Severus, the child, to maybe communicate their regrets, in how to not hold single actions against people. (because once you are dead, all you can give the living is your regrets and try to teach lessons)
Lily from the books seems to have been a passionate and lively girl. Snape seems like he just couldn't give up his pride and harbored deep wounds from his own childhood. James was an asshat. They grew up and moved on, for many reasons, Snape didn't seem to, until the first year really picked up. He still seems to be growing up and out of the teen he was, one step at a time.
So, to me, James and Lily on crystal ball speed dial, means Harry holds no great unreasonable respect or great mystiqe in and for his parents. He sees them as extended family, a bit odd, meddling, normal, but family of a sort.
Also, much as you see it as a rehash, I see it as a re-working of the books, which are often have a large rehash, for the first books at least.
It's part of the beauty and frustration of a school setting!
I personally can't wait to read more Snape side story, as it being told from Snape's perspective has been delightfully sarcastic and glorious to read. ;) I'd love more more descriptions but as it is the plot and story flow so well I just get to enjoy the mental movie instead of still pictures.
