The tremors generated by this fandom are off the scale and I give you 100% for excellence; your characterization of the Addams and HP OC is absolutely brilliant and a breath of needed fresh air. Some words to describe this chapter would be warped, disturbing, ingenious, awesome, psychotic, and uproarious.

I know that it may be a while before this happens but I am anxious to read about Sirius and Remus and their take on this Harry and his adopted family. (lol, lol) I wonder about the Addams reaction and interaction with Remus will be like.

Question Crookshanks in cannon happened in third year, have you changed that? (By the way I am quite fine with you tossing cannon through the window). Are you planning to deal with Harry’s childhood with the Addams, that has to be a whole fic by it self? (lol, lol) What is Gomez going to do to the Grey Lady, and why does he need the energy of a platoon of marines on shore leave?

I’m pleased as punch that Harry does not come into the wizarding world a beaten, partially broken, easily manipulated boy. That rant Gomez made about pushing boundaries and redefining possibilities is definitely the environment that the child of prophesy needs. I am dieing to know what Harry is doing to protect his mind. I am interesting in knowing more about Hermione’s interaction with Harry and company; how is her bossy nature coping with them?

I am happily thinking about what Lurch is doing to the Jehovah's Witnesses; many times I wish that I had dungeons for those that annoy me.

- Delightful. I never thought anyone would top Ishtar's Family Values, but this...

- Thank you.

Extremely cool, dark and vicious - I love having Harry as a loving minder to 'control' the darker tendencies of Wednesday - How long did it take them to develop the telepathic bond that makes their 'good-cop, bad-cop' routine so polished?

Too bad your Bumblebore is incapable of distinguishing nuances in conversation - no threat was made..

thanks so much for sharing - this is a riveting tale.

Wow! Big Wow!

Hermione is a nice echo of It's wife (I cannot think of her name).

The three of them are great fun, particularly their interaction with each other. And with the rest of the family. And with Draco. I did expect more to come from their interaction with Dumbledore, but the conversation in the last scene seems to indicate a great deal took place off screen, as it were.

Snape's conversation with Daphne added some great flavor, and said a lot in a few lines, particularly about him.

Looking forward to next week.

If this is the results of not being able to read the original version on FFA for a long time as it was revised, then I say it is a price well paid! Simply marvelous.

As always in a Jeconais fic, there are tons of questions to be answered so far. But that seems to be the point, of course. It has always been difficult to review the first chapters of your fics since they often just set the table for what it coming next.

But in this one, I must commend you on your characterizations. They seem to be even better than your norm. Harry is interesting, not necessarily completely different than some of the better written Dark Harry fics out there, but richer. Pugsley seems wonderfully manic and enthusiastic. Even Snape seems a well written spy - a silent and highly intelligent observer in it for himself - yet being drawn into their world.

But Wednesday.

Ah, Wednesday.

The highlight of your best works have always been the lead female characters, all of them unique in their own way. Pansy, Dawn, Ginny, Daphne, Gabby, Gabrielle... You obviously put a lot of thought into them and enjoy watching them grow over the chapters.

Wednesday is already such a layered character in your first chapter that I cannot possibly imagine how she will develop. But I certainly am going to enjoy the ride.

Your pacing in this piece is also excellent. WK,GQ and Hope were moderate speed pieces, most everything devloping at a decent pace. TMW and HEA were madcap races which almost seemed over too fast. PS demands to be read slowly and savored. I found myself reading passages over again just to make sure I got all the nuances.

OK.. this review is getting as long as the chapter. Suffice it to say that this was a wonderful chapter, and to say that I am eagerly awaiting the next installment would be an obvious understatement!

If you are going for humor, you have done well. Isn't the funniest thing around, but it gave me a few laughs.

Congradulations. This is the most disturbing and screwed up story I've ever read.

I'm eagerly awaiting more.

"How’s Lurch?" Harry asked.

"Delighted that you asked about him. He’s at home; we have some Jehovah’s Witnesses locked up in the dungeon and he’s torturing them for us."

This has to be my favourite part - torturing the JW's.

Excellent, I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

Teehee at kids and fishheads. Like I said on the forums, mine got strawberry shortcake and TV. Same general idea, but without the threat of those pesky child services people.

You know, of all the things you've written over the past couple years, in HP at least, this comes across as the most different to me, at least as far as writing style, mood, etc...

So, I had to read it twice. :)

I love the contrast between Pugsley and Harry/Wednesday. I mean, I know that's how they're supposed to be, but it's been so long since I saw the movies (and more recent that I read Dorothy's) that Wednesday was slightly less... less... something, in my head. (Couldn't put it into words last night, still can't this morning.)

Most of all, I like that this is from Snape's POV. Getting his internal narration between scenes breaks things up nicely, and not jumping to one of the children's POV's keeps us from knowing too much about them too soon. The way you open the story, along with the chapter title, gave me the feeling that Snape was reminicing. I didn't notice that the first read-through. :)

Overall, I like this. Took a little adjustment, and I'm not quite at love, although a few scenes stood out in the "LOVE IT" category (Wednesday and the Sorting Hat, Pugs with Hermione, Harry throwing the knife at Snape, McGonagall's reaction to the family arriving).

Looking forward to finding out what happens next!

Thank, Tim. :D

I think you may be my hero.

This is twisted. Insane. Warped. Psychotic.
Hilarious. Inspired. Gifted. Psychotic.

It's... beautiful.

I look forward to your next creation!
