That was good. I managed to pick up the hint that harry was alive after about 3/4 of the fic and using Dumbledore's trick against him was near perfect.

I Love Your Writing!!!!
You are very original and hook the readers in easily so that they have to know what happens next. You should consider writing an original story. You could be a very talented novel writer if you set you mind to it.

This was well written, well thought out. I honestly didn't see the twist at the end until I got there (Though looking back in retrospect, I probably should have).

I love how everything was woven carefully into the tale, piece by piece; made for quite the endearing tale. Seeing everyone get there comeuppance, so to speak, was wonderful.

As always, thanks for writing.

Amazing! This one is even better than the last. You have a real talent for writing. Maybe a few original stories? i must confess, I do wonder what a published book of your own would be like.Write more soon!

Excellent work. Nice way of turning the tables on Dumbledore by using his own trick :)

Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing

this is a really good story, and very touching, but the end is kind of unclear, I can't really tell what's going on after Daphne's speech is done.

If this was the only one of your stories I'd have read the feeling that you didn't exactly love the way HBP turned out would've crossed my mind :)

I liked it but I would like to see you write something that doesn't turn cannon upside down again: Dumbledore's an ass, friends "betray" him and so on. But that's just because I'm a big Harry/Ginny believer.. Any of those coming up in the near future?

'Keep up the good work' as the saying goes. I really do enjoy your work.

Damn you're good. I mean, at the beginning, I was like, I bet he's not dead. And then as it went on, I was like "OK, maybe he actually is. Maybe this is another one of Tim's sad stories. He's still doing it remarkably well." And then poof! :) I was right. Harry's not dead, and he gets a happily-ever-after with the woman he loves. :-D yay! (I so just wanna snuggle this story... :-/ and that kinda weirds me out. ;) hahaha)

Quite a nice one-shot. I liked how Harry sought out Daphne, although his behavior was a bit out of character you did explain it well.

It's the kind of story that makes the reader want to beg for a follow-up. And you did leave a little plot hole that would lead right into one. Can I mention it?

You had Daphne describing to the audience how she was attacked and overcame three Death Eaters. She didn't say that she made one look like Harry, but she did give the number and how they were killed. She also described the circumstances of Harry's "death". Now, wouldn't someone like Albus, who knowingly set the whole thing up, or Hermione now that she is guilt-ridden, notice that the wounds on the faux-Harry were actually caused by the hex thrown by Daphne? Not to mention that the body count of the Death Eaters was one short?

That could easily be explained away by her being clever enough to subtract one DE from her tale. But it also leads to two possible follow-on plots.

One, after realizing that Daphne's tale didn't jibe with the facts the Ministry could accuse her of killing Harry, leading the duo to having to come out of hiding to defend her. Or, they could lead to either Albus or Hermione coming to the conclusion that Harry is still alive. They opt to give him his privacy and the hope for a normal and happy life until a new Dark Lord arises, you left several candidates alive or unaccounted for, and Harry is once again needed to save their arses.

But it was an excellent one shot.

Great story! Not that I expected anything else from you at this point, but you continue to impress me with the number of permutations on where the story could go. Especially taking in the new canon in HBP and making it your own. :-) Great work!

Thanks for writing, and sharing it with us.
