Ah, nice and sappy, to me anyways. Hmm, I wonder how Cho would stand against Hermione. It seems both are bossy and more intelligent than is good, among other things. Heh, if both were someone's friends, it would be an interesting friendship for sure. You do make me curious about overcoming those unforgivables, though. Too bad all this is fictional (unless magic does exist and it is just screwing around with those that cannot use it).

It is always fun to read things that purport (well, the definition of -small- is always debatable, as is how people should react to it) to change only one thing.

Wow. I got recommended to read your works by one of my friends and wow, was I not disappointed. I normally don't like Harry/Cho but I really liked this one. It was moving and interesting. I really love your Cho. She's nice, smart and funny.

Laughed my head off at the reason why Dumbledore wore green pyjamas with purple socks. "Accio girlfriend!" was even better. "The ferret has left the building" was another classic. I’m not a big Cho fan most of the time (she’s a watering pot), but I do like the way you write her in this. Very funny story.

I really liked it, a lot. I love to see some good Harry/Cho stuff, and the whole beginning thing was pretty cool, with the Cruciatis and all. You had a few issues with connecting some of the scenes. It would go from one place to another without a connect. It was kind of confusing, but at the same time, at least it was mildly understandable. Anyways, I really enjoyed this and I'm interested to see if you will go anywhere with this or just leave it.

There is not enough good Harry/Cho stories out there in the world, and this one is definitely worth reading. Cho is believeably smart, and Harry is the type of person who can be a true hero. I like it. The only thing is that Cho starts off saying You-Know-Who, then suddenly gains the cajones to say Voldemort. I thought that it was a bit sudden for her to be able to start saying his name, especially after Harry points out that she can't.

Good job on this tale, I liked how you handled snape and malfoy and how you had snape setup harry with cho and all also. Their dialogue after that was great and also how harry responded to dumbles acitivities also! The summoning bit at the end was hillarious! Good job!

This line made me laugh so much, they're my Dad's favourite colours and he always insists that they go together no matter how many times we tell him otherwise.

Excellently written as always, I particularly liked Cho's speech about being a figurehead. It's so often done as Harry deciding to break free and becoming the public good guy, nice to see it coming from someone else :)

For those of you that aren't happy with the rather deliberate dismantling of HBP simply by having Cho actually use the brainpower that landed her in Ravenclaw in the first place, I have three words for you: GET OVER IT!

For the reviewer that is so sure that Harry didn't *beat* the A-K, ask Tom Riddle. He was the one who cast it at a not-even two-year-old Harry, only to have it rebound and screw him over for no less than *thirteen years*. Riddle *himself* said so in "Goblet of Fire". And then there is the known fact that everyone ELSE at the wrong end of that curse simply gets dead. (And that included Albus Dumbledore.) Harry is known as the Boy Who Lived for *precisely* that reason. Regardless of how (or even why), it's pretty much accepted that the Ugliest Unforgiveable simply *does not work* against Harry, even by the only being to even LAND it (he paid a thirteen year penalty for that misfired curse). Basically, all the canon evidence refutes your insistent rant that Harry didn't *beat* the AK. He beat Imperius two years ago ("Goblet of Fire" again); he is the youngest person to do so. This was in fourth-year DADA, in front of the rest of the class (and in front of the Polyjuiced DE who cast it). In fact, both Crouch-as-Moody ("Goblet") and the real Moody ("Order of The Phoenix") have said that the Imperius is beatable. And Harry himself proves in this story that the Cruciatus is *also* beatable (not only by defeating it himself, but showing Severus Snape how to do so). Actually, Harry can thank no less than *Bellatrix Lestrange* for giving him the secret to cracking the Cruciatus. The secret is what she said in "Order" about what it takes to be able to successfully cast it. That is *also* why Harry was able to successfully cast it against Severus in this story. (And why Severus was able to crack it, even against Harry.) And even the A-K can be blocked (conjured or transfigured stone or metal shielding both work, as does natural stone and most heavy metals, as "Goblet" (graveyard battle) and "Order" (Atrium battle) both prove), but you need both time and distance to put yourself in position to block it. Jeconais did bend HBP severely out of shape; however, from having read the original, he's also given us a MUCH better story by doing so (and even better, he did so using known canon facts).
And I, for one, am NOT so addicted to one ship or worldview that I am unable to appreciate a different storyline or POV. (I tend to personally write and prefer HPHG or HPNT stories; however, I have read some rather nice HPGW and even HPCC and HPBB stories.) (Reviewer's Note: HPBB stands for Harry Potter and "Bellatrix Black"; this pairing usually comes after Bellatrix loses Rodolphus Lestrange due to either divorce (the usual method) or death. My current favorite WIP with this pairing, the English version of "The Dark Witch and the Necromancer" on fanfiction.net, has Harry killing Rodolphus at Bellatrix' request. Though Harry DOES go Dark in this story, it is NOT an Evil!Harry story.)

Well, this is ONE way to repair the mess that was HBP. And since Harry has cracked the Cruciatus, that makes him three-for-three against the Unforgiveables. That also means that *other* pain curses will have just as much chance against him: namely, none! The remainder of the Inner Circle, once they get THAT piece of news (and believe me, they WILL get that piece of news) are in a first-class dilemma: what can you do to an enemy who has absolutely *spiked* your three biggest curses? Unlike Tom Riddle, Lucius Malfoy actually uses his brain, and so will some of the rest of the Inner Circle. (Oh, I forgot; at this point, Lucius Malfoy is still in the pokey, along with the *rest* of the Inner Circle, except Bellatrix, that was in the Battle of the Ministry.) Pansy now knows that Draco is *gone* (at minimum, he's out of the war; at worst, who knows other than Harry?), and Snape's gone, too. And Harry is directly responsible. And she now knows that the last of the DEs Big Guns is spiked beyond repair. And Harry even gets a girlfriend (namely, Cho Chang) out of this, not to mention FINALLY fixing Ron and Hermione dancing around each other, AND the ongoing feud among the Houses (especially Gryffindor-Slytherin) AND he's enabling Slytherin House to actually begin repairing their undeserved reputation. Yes; this makes the REST of HBP effectively moot (with Snape out of the war, Dumbledore doesn't die, and with Draco out of the war, the Battle of Hogwarts doesn't happen, either), but I can deal rather easily with what we have now (even though I've never exactly been a fan of Harry/Cho, or Ron/Hermione for that matter). I hope this isn't a one-shot (but if it is, I would like permission to turn this into a longer story).

Good story. Is this the first one you've written in first person (if that's the term)? Oh, Nirvana was in first-person as well, I think. And Despair or Abyss? Always something of a welcome mental gear change coming across a story written this way though.

I'm uncomfortable with everyone - Snape, Cho, Harry - all stating as a matter-of-fact that Harry can 'beat the killing curse'. He only did it the once, you know, and it wasn't him - it was his mother (although I suspect JKR is never going to explain it satisfactorily enough to justify how every second mother in the wizarding world couldn't do the same thing). They're all giving the impression that Harry could deflect an AK with his chest or something, whereas we know - at least in canon - that he'd be a goner just like the rest of us. I feel that Harry is grandstanding, letting people think he's better than what he is. Or did I miss something, some reference to Harry's further experience with the Killing Curse?

I admired Harry's concern to not violated Cedric's assumed 'trust' in him; very touching. And I enjoyed very much Cho's little dialogue about her guardian angel - "every time I felt like I was being watched, like I was being loved". Very nice. Gawd, I'm such a sook these days. But it's a very moving image.
