Amazing. All I have to say.

I just read Perfect Situations and all of Matryoshka again, and personally, I think this is probably the most poignant of all chapters in the project.

Snape, for all that he's maligned, vilified, hated, loved, touted or pontificated about, is one of the most written characters in HP fics that have anything resembling a plot. Thus, both with canon and fanon there's more thought given to him than many other characters. Thus, more angles have been explored and the results are often more thought provoking. This, in accordance with all of that consideration behind it, is easily one of the very best ends I've seen written for him. Irony in every aspect, "and, as he was in life, he remains in death, ever his own worst enemy...".

I would like to say that i love all of your stories and this one was no exception, but I do think that you could go more places with this. So I hope you decide to do a sequel to these Vignettes. Thank you for a great story.

I found this very good and entertaining. I hope you have more Vignettes planned for here. I hope you write more soon if you are. Hope all is well with you.

Its good to see Snape's brilliance put to work for the good of the world as penance for his crimes. His home, while also his jail, is certainly far better than Azkaban and much better than he deserves.

I've read this chronologically rather than posting order and this is the last chapter thus far. This has been an enjoyable read.

I hope to see Dumbledore also pay for the harm he inflicted upon Harry when he essentially kidnapped him from Sirius and drove Sirius to confront Pettigrew. Even if you want to somehow believe that he was ignorant** of the enslavement, neglect and cruelty that the Dursleys inflicted upon Harry, he is still every bit as responsible for that harm. The moment he took Harry from his rightful and legal guardian due to his own plans b/c of the prophecy, he became a kidnapper of children. His actions in placing Harry with the Dursleys were criminally negligent if not outright an accessory to child neglect and abuse.

**I argue that he was well aware of Harry's living vonditions but chose to ignore them as unimportant. After all he had a squib watching Harry grow up and be treated by the entire neighborhood as a criminal child who attends St. Brutus. Most damning though was when revealed in HBP that he was well aware of the "neglect and often cruelty" Harry suffered at the hands of the Dursleys. That it was his belief that it was necessary to keep Harry "level-headed" - or in more clear terms BRAINWASHED into a submissive personality. One of loyal servitude to an old man's plans for his death.

Ultimately, JKR's world is both great for its potential and creativity but absolutely loathsome for its unrepentant cruelty to an innocent child. There can never be a "greater good" in brainwashing an innocent child into throwing their life away for the wars/conflicts of adults. What Dumbledore did with Harry was little different than religious extremists who brainwash young children, strap them full of explosives and then send them off to die "for the greater good." Dumbledore proved to be every bit as disgusting and loathsome as Voldemort. The only difference were the number of victims.

I loved this story and especially the way you used the Weasley twins. Men my head aches from all the laughter with them. Brilliant work. I didn't expect a follow up after "Perfect Situations" and i hope that you and your co-authors will finish this. Pleaseeeeeeee!!!!!

I don't understand how this fic is completed. It seems like you just stopped working at a certain time. I mean what abotu the Wizengamot meeting. What will happen to the wizarding world? It just seems that after reading the story in both standard Fanfic order and the pulp fiction style that it's an odd place to stop. Especially when you read the story in chronological order.

Those two area rather clever. I think that's fantastic. A fitting revenge if there ever was one.

A wonderful.. end? Hopefully not, but I can't help but appreciate the quality of these character studies.
As the others have mentioned, this just beckons for more. However, I don't agree that you *have* to give it to us - sometimes, less is more. This way lets us in on the creativity, which seems to be something you were after with the guest author-ness.

Overall, brilliant. I bask in the glow from 20 shining gems, each special in their own way.
Sublime.

I agree with a lot of your previous reviewers. This story HAS to have more. So much is left unsaid. Now that I think about it, you said this was 20 interconnected stories, but you never said that it was the end of this, for lack of better word, universe. Which means this is only part 2 of this story...quite slytherin of you my friend.

Can he make a potion to bring back the dead? I mean, Nev has his parents, why doesn't Harry get a bit of that happiness even though he's happy with Daph?

I've always held that the greatest danger of writing, is that some things simply can't be left. I don't recall if you did this due to fan outcry or your own desire to keep going, but I knew as soon as I read Perfect Solutions there'd be more. Maybe not today or tomorrow, but someday.

You even managed to live up to your own hype! Congratulations.

This wins so fucking hard I'm getting a headache from all the win. Great job.

wow I love these. I mean, seriously. I thought the "daphne at the funeral" one-shot was brilliant. but, as with all things like that, i wondered where they went next, who they saw, what they did, etc. and you went one step further: you added "who they kept in touch with" and "what they did ABOUT things"... :-D brilliant. seriously. i just sat here and DEVOURED these things. :-D hehehe. Ok, i grant it was the tiniest bit annoying to have to go Back after reading each one, to get to the Introduction and read them in order, but not really, b/c i liked checking up on the dates of each vignette, seeing how many months/days/hours had passed for each. I also REALLY liked the different points of view. SOOO interesting. :)

ok, i could ga-ga over this for a while more, but i won't. :) it's awesome. i hope more are forthcoming. your writing continues to astound. thanks SO much for sharing :-D

this was pretty good ... no offence but by the time I had read about 4 of them i was getting kinda sick of them, i practically had to force myself to finish reading it .. but they were well written, i just think you should just do it more of Harry and Daphne' POV and what they are doing and stuff like that .. but thats just my advice!

Luv LoVeBiRd xx
