I feel a little bad about Snape, but it's probably the best punishment he could have gotten.

I really enjoyed the 'fleshing out' that you provided herein.
I am sorry that things have been going poorly for you of late but I guess that's life, eh? (And I most certainly do NOT mean that in any form of a slur or in a demeaning fashion. My wife has been healthy for aproximately 6 weeks in the nearly 32 years we've been married. I don't like it but there it is. And as the Preacher said during the vows: for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, und so weiter...)
I hold out hope that in the end all the seemingly random stupidly arranged problems are indeed for some purpose but that is also something that can only be answered (if it can be at all) at the end of the whole thing.
Until then I hope you hold your head up and take each day as it comes and I would once again like to encourage you in your hobby. I know that your writing has given me great pleasure over the last few weeks as I've enjoyed your work.
Best regards,
SteveC.

Once again I find myself returning to this set of Vignettes and what a most excellent collection it is.
Justice can take many forms. Justice for Snape is most delightful. He gets what he truly wants, fame, but cannot truly bask in it as only Harry and Daphne can find him.

Severus' fate reminds me of a revenge story by Edgar Allan Poe the title of which escapes for the moment.

So when do we get more of this series of vignettes?

Having read this a few times, I always wish that it would continue, or come to some more definite conclusion. I feel we are just left here, wondering what happens when:
Dumbledore tries to 'visit' Daphne; or
How Mrs. Weasley feels about her Ginny not becoming the next 'Mrs. Potter'; or
Who else comes to live with Harry and Daphne on the Island; or
What happens when Professor McGonnagal becomes Headmistress of Hogwarts; or
How many children do they have,
How they (the children) are received when they begin their schooling at Hogwarts
Are Hermione and Ginny able to get on with their life without Harry
Does Hermione ever get a chance to tell Harry she's sorry
Does Percy get back with Penny
How does Percy become Minister of Magic
How to the Goblins benefit from what's going on
Are the twins ever able to 'settle down' and with whom
You could probably write for hours some of the different scenes for the cast in JKR's world to take on, but I guess, after a while, it would be just like 'Mr. Black' in Rorschach's Blot's 'Make a Wish'.
Still, thank you for sharing this with us. There are to few good Harry / Daphne stories for my liking, much like Pansy in 'White Knight, Grey Queen' (another classic).
Should you choose to add additional chapters, I'm sure you'll find plenty of people to read them.
I look forward to your next endeavor.

I have now read all the Vignettes in chrono order. I just love the picture that they paint of 1998.
I fell sorry for some of the characters, quite happy for others and I want to see justice served for several.
Snape is in his gilded cage, but what will happen to Dumblebum and the Ministry? How will the Potters & Weasleys change wizarding England? What is in the crypt and how did it get there?
Thanks for the great story, I just hope for more.

awesome shit. ^^ every last chapter. daphne and harry is so rare, but daphne is considered a minor character naturally. nonetheless, i would accept any OC over ginny or hermione. i have nothing against thdm but it just ismt right. good story anyway.

Brilliant collection of chapters. I read through them chronologically, but glancing at the list, I can see how they'd go in the other arrangement as well. (They'd probably evoke a different feeling upon finishing, though.)
This chapter in particular is quite brilliant, and the pacing and variety of chapter subjects worked quite well when reading in chronological sequence. Great craftsmanship!

So now that I have read these chapters in what you said was Chronological order are there going to be any more?

A fabulous series of vignettes that form a great shared sequel. I scrambled around reading the ones I'd missed and looking for more. Wonderful! Thank you all.

I really wish you would continue these. I love this series of shorts. I've always wanted to know about the tomb, the ministry, and what they eventually decide about the other friends. Maybe someday, huh?

One of my greatest dislikes is getting to the end of a completed story, only to find out it isn't really completed. That makes for one sad me...
Your Luna in this story is simply hilarious, I really like the political machinations, and the twins chapter was outstanding. While it has been years since you marked it finished, one can only hope you'd eventually take it to a true conclusion.

Please, do complete this story...
However I read it, it appears to end abruptly, a lot of loose ends need to be tied.
Please provide us with finishing few Vignettes, this awesome fanfic deserves a better ending.
Please do not disappoint us readers.
I feel this is even better than This Means War!
Its truly fantabulous, please do finish it off...

I much prefer it in chronological order makes much more sense in the end. Means I don't have to strain my poor little brain overly much.
The self-recrimination got a little dull after a while but I feel the story ends on a superb note with this as its last chapter. Very good fanfiction thank you.
