Damm! That is a good ending to a great chapter. Thinking about the situation in England, the Minister, Headmaster and Daily Prophet Editor are the three most influential people in England. However they are all portrayed as backward, small minded and petty. I'm imagining that all three will be gone by the end of the story, replaced with people of vision? Percy Weasley Minister for Magic: The Paperwork Prince!

Okay, Jeconais... I would like to further commend you on this excellent story. Once again, I must admit that my girlfriend and I like Harry/Ginny pairings in stories, but for once, we seem to have found an extremely talented writer who captivates us to the point that we don't care about the pairing. We love the fact that you have developed Harry into a more mature, pro-active character that J.K. Rowling just didn't seem to grasp in the books. Gabrielle is a perfect balance to the character you have evolved Harry into for this story.
We applaud you for dedicating so much time to ensure that your readers are rewarded for their patience that, at times, seems to waver ever so slightly. :-D (Not us, though, we only found your story fairly recently, so our wait wasn't nearly as long as some of the other readers.) Thank you, once again, for taking the time out of your life to brighten ours.
Draxomulus +1

I am so glad you are finishing this story! You paint a very real and compelling picture where Harry could actually fall in love with Gabrielle. But then, I don't think I've read any of your stories that hasn't been just top-notch.
In a different world I think it would be great to see this - or any of your other stories - on the big screen.
Thank you for an enjoyable trip into the world of Harry Potter

Yeah! A new chapter, and a great new chapter! Please, please write more soon. I would really love to see Snape and Dumbledore get their comeuppance as well.

Wonderful! I am enjoying this story a great deal. I agree the prophet article is a fine stroke. I liked the bit about why Ron learned to cook. I like Harry as the sauve sophisticate and I like Gabrielle; I guess I like pretty much everything about the story. I am looking forward to Harry sorting out Hogwarts & Dumbledore. Thank you. W.

An excellent chapter, complete with all the small little touches that come to together to form one of the most enjoyable fanfiction story anywhere. The scenes in this chapter were what I've been waiting for since chapter 2. I loved this story and I look forward to the last 2 chapters.
P.S. This is my first review to you and while i have your attention let me tell you I absolutely love Perfect Situations ,The Price and These Dreams

P.S. Oh, and that line from the article: "Malfoy, his grey eyes revealing the depth of his betrayal" was a great throw back to Rita's line in GoF about Harry's eyes swimming with the ghosts of his past. Another great touch that sets your work so far above everyone else's.

First let me say how thrilled I was to actually see that I was able to contribute, even if in such a small way, to this marvelous story. Seeing my handle there was a thrill and a little piece of fanfic immortality for this humble fellow (so He is correct).
This was a really great chapter, but then again they all are, and the wait was worthwhile, especially considering that two more chapters are in the pipeline! I love how you evolved the relationship between Harry and Gabriel so smoothly. Hermione's little charm worked well and it was a nice touch how you turned it around on her to give her more work to duplicate the effect for herself and Ron.
Is that all there is to Trelawney? Just a minor revenge plot? Somehow I'm not sure but I suppose I'll have to wait to see. But I loved how Rita read her from the Gospel, sent her home, sold her out to Percy, and then used her for protection on the opinion piece she already wrote! She is a pip that one.
I assume the protections on the ring will come into play when Malfoy tries to get his revenge. Will he do it at the upcoming Quidditch match? It seems to be the thing his life revolves around. Which brings up another nice touch, how Flint stalked off rather than completing the course and admitting defeat. A telling fault that opens the door to his, and by association Slytherin's weaknesses and what Snape/Malfoy have done to Hogwarts in general. Even the Headboy and girl; he's a prat and she figures if you can't beat 'em, shag 'em. And to get back to the ring, I assume Gabby won't take it off and therefore it will have to be hidden until after the match, and assumably Malfoy's attack. Or will you be Hitchcockian (if that is even a word) and tease us with Malfoy getting closer and closer to the unsuspecting Gabby only to have her slip on the ring at the last moment?
Anyways, thanks for a most enjoyable evening reading this chapter and I look forward to another soon (hopefully).

WOW You are at the top of your game. I was sooo worth the wait thanks. I am glad they are safe now. One question "Gabrielle smiled suddenly as the reason for Durham sprang to her mind" why Durham? Did I miss somthing in the story? Any way thanks agin.

Awesome. I can't wait until we have the rest, so I can sit down and read the whole thing together. It's an amazing story in pieces, but I think it will truly shine when it's taken as a whole. Thank you, you've made the wait worthwhile.
