I also have one question: IN Chapter 6 you stated, that there are 8 years in the hogwarts education while in Canon Hogwarts lasts for 7 years. Is this a spelling mistake or is your hogwarts education longer than in Canon?

Wow. I never expected this story to be updated ever again. There are a few spelling mistakes though. You forgot to write Harry's name completely and only wrote 'H' the other mistake was somewhere in the beginning.

I enjoyed reading the new chapter, well done!

Good point about Amelia, one not used very often when she's on a case and knows Harry before, but agree about the idiocy of the justice system in British wizarding world, else I couldn't see Lucius and so many former DE's getting to walk away with no more than a fine, and what always seemed to be not even a slap on the wrist. Fudge was at the absolute edge of smarminess, a typical politician in book three, but book five really used it to the edge of idiocy in his actions, one that made you roll his eyes at how he and Umbridge acted, and made you wish that they'd get a lot worse than they apparently did. Impressive with the Lake, and will be curious as to what might happen to Snape, and if the greasy haired one will finally get all he is deserving, but didn't get in canon due to JKR apparently making wish really hard, and deciding that Snape was so awesome that the series should have been named Severus Snape, the most awesome guy alive. Maybe he could have sparkled in the sun? LOL.

Wonderful. Loved it.

The imagery of the second task was great. The fact that the Merpeople were enjoying the rides (and the squid taking two) was great.

Loved the rest, too.

I found that you had updated your stories from a yahoo group that I am a member of. Your site for some reason did not update that you updated. Might want to check on that cause It does seem to work for others. this chapter was great. I do hope that the time between now and the next update isn't so long. But I'll wait anyways. Of all the chapters so far this has been one of your better cliff hangers yet in the story.

I didn't know you'd updated this one til I saw in on the Caer Azkaban group! Great, great update. Personally, my bet is the person in shadows at the trial is either the Queen or the PM. I love the way you handled the second task and that Fleur is finally on Harry's side. The scene with MacNair and friend was perfect. I've always loved stories showing Death Eaters not knowing how to handle a "victim" who can fight back and Harry's entrance to the Wizengamot was priceless!

Considering Harry's had nearly a week to recharge, his vengeance against the people who hurt his friends and family should be . . . messy. They had a much better chance when he was going after then immediately after the 2nd task. Oh and you never said if Malfoy's clumsiness was fatal or just crippling. Either is fine, just curious, you understand. -_^

Patiently waiting for the next chapter. ^_^

Wonderful, and most unexpected. The image of the draining of the lake will probably stay with me for quite a while. I like that you brought them all together as a team in this chapter. Not just the champions, but the whole gang with veela, friends, employees and students, all pulling in mostly the same direction and with lots of fun teamwork. The snubbing of Umbitch was beautifully underdone, and the whole thing with the ministry's inability to even be stupid when everyone's watching them.

Oh, and i have to mention my delight when i was re-reading Ch 5 for the umpteenth time and found a link to another one at the end. It wasn't there when i started. Since you obviously did this just for my own personal delight, i will make you king of some nice place when i take over the world.

About the hole in the chamber of secrets... I was half expecting said hole to be made in the Slytherins' common room, as it is supposed to be under the lake ;-p
