It is truly brilliant to see a new chapter of this story - long awaited but well deserving. I first started reading this story a long time ago, and the joy that I felt from that automated email today is indescribable. I remember hankering over the keyboard at the ending of the last chapter, too far back to remember, and wishing for more. Shortly afterwards, I read everything other of interest on this website (and trust me, almost all of it was). However, nothing ever beat your work for me - especially not 'Hope' (I love your portrayal of the Delacours, especially Gabrielle in this version).
What always makes me smile about your writing is not neccessarily the humour - its often just how clever it is. How you raise such valid points (about a universe that technically doesn't exist - my old English teacher would probably kill me about now. She despaired at my inability to call characters 'Characters' and not 'People'.) That Amelia is a biased judge is absolutely true, and a point skimmed over in most works.
So say that you write for pleasure - its true. Say that the quality is declining? Absolutely not.
However, saying that you've resorted to cliche? Somehow you manage to turn the height of over-doneness and already-formed-expectations into something completely unique. That is the reason that I always return to your website, and most specifically, your page. Carry on writing code - it's fun - but carry on writing words too!

As always, it was a thrill to see an update from you. I still reread pretty much everything on the site by you at this point, and some stuff I had captured long long ago :)
I sincerely enjoyed Skeeter getting her comeuppance in this fashion. I was wondering if the galleon bet stemmed from the $5 bets that the best friends on "Ed" used to have, or if I'm just missing that much of popular culture. Probably the latter.
The cell invasion and the trial were probably the most interesting parts for me so far. I think you could have gone into more detail into what happened to the bodyguards by the aurors -- you normally write the action so very well that that portion to be ... not waived off, but mostly bypassed is disappointing. I'm hoping that the gory details come out at trial, on Danovision projection.
Absolutely great read as always and I hope that you continue to write many more stories. I will point out that I've also adored your Addam's family tale and hope you have more coming there as well.

That was brilliant! Although I would never attempt to bite bug, I would just squish it! That it turned out to be Rita Skeeter, an unregistered Animagus, was priceless! Although you say that Dumbledore is not evil, I would make any effort to avoid him, and make sure that he would no longer be in any control of anyone and have him answer to what he has done in regards to Harry and his friends! I hope you have plans on getting back at Snape.

I'd just might snitched that word sometime. Just love the way Fudge was cut down. Isn't everyone a bit bias in that society? I do think that Minister Fudge won't be a minister much longer.

*bg* Oh wow, this was great! Honestly, Fudge just seems determined to dig his own grave, doesn't he? Pretty soon it'll be deep enough for him to throw himself, Umbridge, and half of the Ministry in it.

welcome back! amazing, amazing chapter, as always!!! anyone showing up fudge, dumbles, snape and umbridge is *always* a good read in my book and you do it with such flair, wit and good old fashion common sense!! can't wait for the next chapter!

Glad to see this chapter again. I was one of the multitudes who read both this and Year Four of Perfect Slytherins when they were up originally, and I'm looking forward to being able to re-read that as well.
I'm still loving the way that Harry and the others are pulling Fudge's trousers down and giving him an incredibly public spanking! The buffoon certainly deserves it.
Also, thank you for the new login procedure, it's a whole lot easier using my Google ID instead of trying to remember my user name and password for the site.
