Ah, and what a Christmas it was...I think the ending was the best scene of Dumbledore coming to grips with a grown up 'Arry that Ive ever read, and dead chuffed ter be able to as well. i didnt like the male flirting, but i understand your reasoning of having a male so sure of his sexuality that playfully flirting with another male is ok. in fact, i have friends who do the same, and i sometimes join in. but the kiss that harry shared with michael? i thought that went a little too far.

I think this is a tremendous story you have going. It is a far better coming-of-age story than one filled with battles and cursing. My favorite part is the relationship you have built between Harry and Gabrille. I think Harry needed that relationship of love and trust, and him being the supporter rather than the one being taken care of. He has this group of people helping him, and being the one to be helping balances that nicely.

Thinking about this story as a whole I am seeing a few developments that should be fun to read:

1) Somehow I don't think F&G's plan to have Harry date Fleur will work out as they originally thought, but then no battle plan survives the first shot.

2) Harry may attend Beaubatons but his connection to Hogwarts as shown by the doors opening up for him this morning will call him back to her.

3) There is something more to Harry and Gabrielle's relationship than just an adoring pseudo-big brother but I'm not sure what that will be, and I know that neither of them do either.

Again, well done and I look forward to the next update.
