As an alternate path to Alone, this definitely has a squick factor as written. It would be more viable as an event after the death of Ginny.

I liked the visual of Harry coming into Natalie's cell (wonder what would've happened to that Forkwith? guy for putting her in a CELL for pete's sake!) and as soon as she saw the scar on his forehead, it was like she knew everything was going to be OK, her savior was there, and he would make it "all better". I'm sure Harry would have a very comforting presence for a young girl! :)

This is good story, I admit I would have like Draco & Cho death and Harry becoming Natalie father in the first story. I never liked Draco for he seem like a bully, now take Draco attitude and it not hard to see that he made an lot of enemy's over the years. So if Draco father is worse then him then he will have lot of Enemy's too. Now with so many Enemy's that one day they would want some pay back, I feel sorry for Natalie for she have pay a price for something she have nothing to do with.

Sammy is, oddly enough, one of my all-time favotire OCs. I positively love Alone. But I agree with the other reviewers: this was a great what-if, and I'm glad you didn't toss it, but it's probably much better that you didn't follow up on it. And Draco's letter was great. :)
