Great chapter, I would have loved to hear what the aurors were told in the evealuation of their performance. Yes it may have been setup by Gin, but they really didnt give a good showing did they lol. It was good to see Gin finally get herself together and just tell him what she wanted, and that talk with Sammy was so sweet :)

Love the Red Dwarf reference. I am a complete and utter Smeg Head. Have every episode, and keep hoping they make Red Dwarf, the movie. Oh well, won't bother you about This Means War. I would rather have you take your time, to have it end well, than just hash something out. Love your Hope story. Actually, like just about everything you have done, and epsically this website. EXTREMELY glad that there is NO SLASH HERE!!!!!!! THANKYOU

I do love when you write Harry and Ginny :)
She certainly went to a lot of trouble to get Harry alone — this wasn’t a normal way of getting them together and I smiled at Harry’s reasoning for giving Ginny a chance, 'quite pretty and doesn’t bore me (I’m getting the feeling that Mr Potter may just be a bit surprised by Ginny as the story continues).

I enjoyed the training scenes, Harry certainly is a hard person to fight, especially with such a sneaky team behind him.

The idea of Harry being like Dumbledore was fantastic.

I felt sorry for Sammy, she is great little character and I laughed when she asked if she could throw fireballs at Ginny if she hurts Harry.

Well, Tim, I don't know why you were so down on this part. It doesn't quite have the charm of the first part, but the plot -- specifically, the games with the Aurors -- doesn't really allow for that, and as a story, it's not bad by any stretch of the imagination. The real reason behind Ginny's behaviour was a clever surprise, and the comedy of errors as she tried to get in touch with Harry was very funny -- though I did wonder whether she was supposed to be able to get in touch with him or not. She tried and tried and tried, all to no avail, failing more than half the time because of her family not telling her about things like Harry's security, and yet Harry seems to think that she ought to have been able to find him anyway. Something doesn't quite gel there. And Harry's dislike of being manipulated does rather remind one of "Hope" -- a case of two stories by the same author with a similar sub-plot inevitably resembling one another, I suppose.

Sammy was as wonderful as ever, though it was a bit of a shock to see her suddenly lose her self-confidence with Harry. Hopefully, part 3 will let the two most important girls in Harry's life become accustomed to sharing him. Might be fun until it happens, though -- provided you're neither girl, nor Harry! < eg >
