I've been reading all your stories, and I have to say, I love your work! I knew when I started this one that you'd abandoned it, but it's SO good, I wish you'd finish it!

>In a good mood, Harry sat down next to a pretty blonde haired girl. "Harry Potter," he introduced himself.

"Parvati Patil," she replied

Parvati is a blond?

Then later, Sirius says that "Harry is illegible." I have seen some illegible writing, but I would think that Harry would be ineligible.

Really liked this start... too bad there isn't more. It's an interesting twist on his life - and it would be interesting to see how Ron and Hermione hooked up, and other changes in the Hogwarts crew's life without Harry there. Sirius isn't really shown in this much, and he's called godfather, stepfather, and uncle at various points, it seems. His demeanor in the short glimpses appears much different - and General is very different than Marauder.

Like I said, lot's of potential, wish there was more.

Thanks for posting!

Actually, this isn't as bad as you had made it out to be. I spent 22 years in the military, and worked with all to many soldiers that pretty much had the same problem as this Harry, they could kill and or destroy just about anything or anyone, yet they had no clue as to what to do in the "normal" world, away from the "war". It took a lot of time and patience to get some of these guys to be able to comfortably interact or have a normal life. Sadly, all too many were just set loose to fend for themselves, and unfortunately, many were a ticking time bomb just waiting to go off if pushed too hard. Kinda like the original "Rambo" movie, granted, that was a little over the top, but similar situations like that occured all around the country, particularly after Viet Nam, and to some degree after the Gulf War. Now they have a little better handle on PTSD, yet there is still a long ways to go. Oh! BTW, obviously this Harry DOES have PTSD, but he is working on it, and in time would be able to handle it better. Would have been fun to see who won the bet. Thank You. TTFN

I don't care if this is abandoned! I love this story! You are such an amazing writer, and I have come to compare all other fanfiction with yours-and no one else's measures up. Please, think of continuing this one. It's an interesting storyline, but the way you've written it is so incredibly unique.

Again, you don't give yourself enough credit. You probably won't win a hugo, but it offers more than enough enjoyment for your readers to consider picking it back up.

I would've loved to see what you could do with this one. Although, I'm dead certain that I've read more to this somewhere. It was H/G, had Harry fighting some monster in a desert in later chapters...
