Poor Angel - with him not going to the city, you killed an entire spin-off. Great story and characters, worth a read!!

More teenage stuff, but in a good way. Characters are well-written, well-developed and consistent; while close enough to canon, they have evolved into something both different and believable. Good story!

While I wouldn't mind being younger, I would hate to be a teen again. The author took two young people under stress and mixed in a measure of emotional distress and a dash of angst, and wrote a scene that any of us could recognize from our own teenage years. Now: what will he do with it?

I don't normaly leave reviews, But I thought the way harmony staked angel was epic and had to be mentioned.

Great story, touching, dramatic and fun. Loved the range of characterisation, not least of which included the mayor and Harmony.

And of course am always a sucker for this paring.

Thanks for sharing

I really enjoyed this fic. I thought that you did a really good job making Harmony(who I strangely like) into a real person and I like you showing her growth from the show's portrayal of her. I also like your characterization of the mayor. He is probably one of my favorite villains because of his attitude, and you caught it perfectly.

It can be hard to find good Buffy stories without a super-Xander, so this was very nice(not that I anm against super-Xander fics).

I hope you keep up the excellent writing.

P.S. Harmony staking Angel - Epic.

Haven't seen you visit Buffy-land in quite some time. Nicely done. Bonus points for using the Diamondbacks for the baseball team. I'm an Arizona native, and it's quite nice to see the home team get a little fiction love.

The main thing I don't like about this fic is that now the Xander/Vamp Harmony slow-motion slap fight will probably never happen. (I loved that scene.)

This was a nice little fic. Harmony staking Angel was hilarious. The way Xander and Faith got together wasn't forced and seeme natural.

Thanks for the great fic

You fit Faith and Xander together in a smooth and not quick fashion and with the surprise of Harmony not the airhead that she is usually portrayed.

And I do like the Mayor, even as a bad guy, you kept him polite and almost a good man

And you dusted Angel too, thanks

Looking forward to more from you

That was fun. A nice story. Interesting use of Harmony. I don't think I've ever seen her used in a story so well.

Thank you very much. Good luck with any future projects.

And we like that you like the characters, Jeconais...it makes reading such fantastic works ever so much more enjoyable!

;D

I am glad to see at least Willow and Cordelia made peace with Xander - they've known him the longest and they're tied to his ID in form or another - though I do hope that Buffy comes to see the light eventually, even if that eventuality is not shown. Xander and Buffy have a link that both have abused (Buffy moreso) whose loss would be a tragedy but understandable.

"He groaned under her breath" Woops, pronoun problem! ;-p

Willow’s monologue(s) was really annoying to read… So I guess it was fun to write ;-p

Harmony dusting Angel had me laughing out loud!

The Mayor’s VCR and tape had me wondering… I can’t remember the original episode’s ending and as such think in a loop, wondering if he would do that or not…

This was a nice story!

Thanks for sharing!

Two broken people

Making their way in the world.

Enjoyed the chapter.

-[ I prefer the rebuilding of relationships and the establishment of someone's place in the world to the breakdown and the angst. I'm glad I waited until you finished this story before reading it. That first chapter was depressing, but the various developments that were happening in this chapter more than made up for it.

Something threw me off though. Jessie got staked in this storyline before Xander found out about the Slayer? Was that an intentional change? In the original material, Jessie got abducted the night before Xander and Willow were officially introduced to the Slayer. Buffy then tried to save him during the day, but she and Xander found out that they were too late. Vampire Jessie was then dusted later that evening. ]-

you know i'm normally not a fan of most buffy fics but this was one of the few good ones out there very well written

TheSandyToadfish posted a comment on Monday 14th July 2014 1:53pm

I don't really know the buffy universe so I can't accurately comment on how well you characterised everyone. But this was such a good story because I didn't have to know every character bio to enjoy it. I really enjoy all of your HP fics so I might have to read some of your buffy fics. Thanks for the awesome stories.
