Not only did you put Cho in a different light, you ah...somewhat rearranged Harry as well. I think I like both of them this way. Alright, you started Harry with his well worn act of denial, but you brushed it aside nicely. Are you sure this is a one shot? Please note that this is the first review that I didn't use Hagrid-speak once, so I must really be stunned.

I really enjoyed your fic. Many stories with Cho are rather mean towards her and your fic is a very good example on how to make Cho likable and realistic. Harry is incredibly powerful, but its within enough bounds that the final battle doesn't look one-sided. Cho is a real Ravenclaw in this story as opposed to other fics where she's super-emotional and damn near retarded because of it. I enjoyed this fic immensely, and congratulate you on providing yet another odd pairing in a tasteful and enjoyable way.

I did enjoy this, but it felt a little bland in comparison with some of your other works (particularly White Knight, Grey Queen), perhaps because it's a one-shot and there isn't the same time for character development that you have put into longer fics.

It also doesn't really address the issues between Cho and Harry that developed in OoTP, and I wasn't sure whether you had intended for them not to have happened (e.g. Madam Puddifoot's, Marietta) or if it was an unspoken part of their agreement.

On the other hand, the method of dealing with Snape and the Malfoys was intriguing. I never took Snape to be quite as willing to go into hiding, but as part of a wider scheme to protect/neutralise Draco and Narcissa and to prevent Draco having to (try and) kill Dumbledore, it work really well.

Harry's dealings with Dumbledore were also good - we don't see too many fics where Harry takes over as the focus for the light without some form of specific direction from Dumbledore or where there is a serious conflict between the two of them. Here, it is pretty clear that Dumbledore acknowledges Harry's status and power and effectively bows to it (at least privately).

Thank You. :o)

Well, well. Rehabilitated Cho, and a very simple technique too.

I enjoyed the story very much. It wasn't over-told, although at first I thought Harry's internal dialogue was too mature. I think that this was a good writing exercise for you.

It does not have the passion that (to me) characterises some of your other work, such as Perfect Situations and WKGQ. But in some ways passion in writing this piece would get in the way of our protagonist, Harry, discovering passion. And I have just realised that Harry's discovery of passion (in a positive sense) is in part what this story is about.

For me, anyway.

As always, well done, thank you for writing.

If I was to say that that was really great would you believe me?

Well you had better because it was really really great.

I liked the story. It was a good idea but I didnt like how Cho acted. Too different I guess.

I loved Snape and Harry though.

Hmmm.... Very good. I liked it. Though, I don't quite understand how we got all the way to sixth year... It just seems odd, mainly since you didn't show us what happened to what ended up being a disaster for the two of them in their fifth year.
Other than that, it was quite good and I enjoyed reading it.
I looke forward to more of your work.

*Laughs* I loved this one and the tone's exactly right. The ripple effects of this one could be most interesting to see.

Well... I already think you are the best author on this site and I've read the most stories of you twice or more. (Yeah I know, I could review more) And then you come along and write this!

It's a short one but the best Cho and Harry fic, I've ever read. It was believeable especially after reading OOTP and there aren't a lot of that out there. It was also a good 'Harry and Snape come clean' stories. I really liked it and I hope to read more from you soon. Especially more from 'Hope' That's my favourite.

Way cool! I like this Cho, showing what she's made of and claiming Harry as well as jumping to his defense and building a more suitable public image. Great story! She's definitely the kind of girlfriend Harry needs, in this story they seem to complement each other wonderfully.

Thanks for sharing!

Hmm... I'm starting to notice a theme here, your females have a flair for the dramatic. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but I guess because I tend to be a quiet and subtle person it isn't entirely to my taste.
